FF:WA Tropfest '06

Tropfest 2006 is gearing up, and I know there are a few of you here who either know about it or have thought about possibly doing something for it.

I'm going to try it this year. I know that is a big ask of myself, but I want to give it a try. However, I need the help. Of course, I'm nowhere near talented enough with a camera, or editing, etc. so I was hoping a few of you here would be interested in the project ... or have an idea of your own.

I have a general idea of what I am looking for. The script is in the works, but this work requires some other elements besides acting. That's all I want to say on that for now, as it is very much a work in progress.

So if you're willing to lend a hand, have an idea of your own, or are just generally interested in the fest, post away and send me a pm/email if you wish.

Best of luck Mark, and anyone else who gets involved, this'll be my second entry. The last one I did was a rush job, we decided 5 days ahead of closing to do it, but we found out a lot about ourselves and filmmaking (5 days awake will do that to you) and we met a couple of great people doing it, one of which is returning to help us again this year, at least this time she'll know what she's in for working with us

One way to really impress your actors, get busted 3 times by security in one day in 3 different locations, one of those times being detained in the Sydney Opera House security office.

Fun times...

Not yet. Just been hell busy of late to even think of this I'll talk to you about it soon.

I believe Kart is working through some things at the moment, so I don't know how often he'll be coming on here to let you know how to be involved in his Tropfest idea.

I've got this project on hold for the moment, life itself has been busy of late so much I haven't had a chance to get into it. My timetable should settle down shortly once I've got work sorted out (in terms of knowing when I'm available) and once I do I'll have an update for you all.
