Trouble with a friend with star wars

Okay i have a friend who is obessed with star wars like me but he likes a girl but he says he can't love her because the jedi code and that he will never love anyway. can i help him?

Take him to a real life doctor, to inform him that Jedi are, god forbid me for saying this, but NOT REAL. He needs to realize that there is no 'Jedi code'.

Skiara's right - you'd probably get better answers in the forums she mentioned.

However, my argument would be that Qui-Gon informs Yoda et al at the end of ROTS that they were wrong about how to raise jedi, the code almost certainly included. So even if he believes it is real, he's still wrong. Look at the post-ROTJ jedi. They are allowed to love.

There is an actual 'Jedi' belief. So I suggest that he should meditate, think about it, and realize something. It's his choice, if he believes in the Jedi Code, then you should do nothing, and let him live. If he will like to live that way, there's no problem.

There is another thing. Luke Skywalker married to Mara Jade. Master Ki-Adi-Mundi had 6 honour wives, but he wasn't attached to them. Even when his wives and daughters all died during the Clone Wars he still managed to control himself, not give in to anger. Maybe he should meditate, like I said, and come to a conclusion. Love is not really forbidden, but only if you become to attached to it, then it is forbidden. So it's really difficult to say...
