Amph True Blood (All seasons at once! Wow! Amazing!)

How long has this show existed? It seems like it's just been going for people's whole lives.

 

Long enough to spin-off into True Detective.

 

Good.

 

This will be the final season

Besides the last 2 seasons being kinda bonkers it's been a fun show. 10 episodes for the finale.

 

I don't know why, but I'm gonna miss this series. Maybe it was just the traditional summer Sunday event for me. Maybe it's because I was watching the show during some really good Summers.

I hated the past 2 seasons. In fact I didn't even watch most of last, yet, I'm actually all geared up for tonite.

 

So, it appears that after the last two seasons where the show went world shaking it is making a step back to local events and dealing with each other and their mutual local enemy consisting of a group of infected vampires while they search for loved ones.

Um, so, Tara is dead then? What bit of rumors I surfed she appears to be gone for good but fans hope for a last appearence.

I will miss this soap opera when it ends. Been a fun ride.

 

Well let's see, what could eb the most talked about scene in this last episode?

Probably the nsfw extra gay encounter bewteen Eric and Jason

 

Jesus Christ, I think they're going to kill the entire cast this season. Can't believe they offed that guy from the Chive so early.

Whatever. Sarah Newlin returns!

 

And she is awesome. And she becomes, shall we say, important.

I recall e True Blood panel in which an audience member asked if Bill and Sookie could ever get back together despite what goes on. Looks like.

 

What the hell was that? In the absence of any named father for sookie's pregnant belly I'm going to assume its Hoyt.

 

So they had lots of fun with their last episode with Eric and Pam becoming New Blood billionaires, Sara Newlin becoming a very high priced vampire prostitute haunted by her dead husband in the dungeon of Fangtasia, and they had the guts to make Bill die. That was a good scene btw with Sookie sitting in Bill's coffin covered in blood.

Overall it was a great series with a couple of bad seasons.

 

Dang, I'm gonna miss this show. Well deserved endings for Sarah and Bill, and um, Eric & Pam survived so it's all good.
