Truthfully, now...how many of you have read River of Chaos?

How many even heard of it?

 

I've read it! I've read it...


...and I didn't like it much...still, it's a shame it's not in tpb format...I dig tpbs...

 

Own the british tpb. I don't think it's all that bad. Feels alot like an old marvel/Classic stars comic.

 

I also own the UK TPB. Not as nice as the ones DHC puts out, but it still looks nicer on the shelf (and more recognizable) than a stuffed comic bag!

I bought the TPB less then a year ago and read it.

I just read it again not too long ago. I bought the issues when they came out.

 

I've read it, I own it, therefore I've heard of it. It's a 4 comic story with Princess Leia.

 

I read the original issues when they were published...and have absolutely to recollection what it was about.

 

As a side question, does anyone know where I could obtain copies of the non-TPB Dark Horse stories in British TPB format? (I think it was "River of Chaos" and "X-Wing: The Rebel Opposition").

 

Ranulf should have been in Rogue Squadron... except he had all those implants, so maybe not. maybe a Wraith

 

rebel op has never been in a tpb anywhere.

Only Rivers of chaos, and droids season of revolt have been in british tpb.

 

I havn't read it, but I fliped through some of the back-issues of it at the local comic shop. Needless to say I didn't buy it.

 

Yep. Good art and a smart story made it a quite nifty little series.

I bought it, read it and boxed it! I thought it was ok, not one of the worst series nor one of the best.

Yes, I have heard of it. I remember the art was by June Brigman, because she did the Supergirl mini-series around that time. Wasn't it written by L. Simonson? (Who was also worked on the Superman family of books at that time.)

 

I was wrong, I have it in seperate issues. You can obtain almost any comic from a company called Mile High Comics. I got Empire's End issue #2 from them when nobody else had it, not even Dark Horse.
