    Hey,

    I am wanting to make a Yoda puppet and while we are useing the latex mask (modified) for the head, we still need to make hands (that can be interacted with) and feet.

    I thought latex would be good to blend it with the mask.

    The thing is I am so unfamiliar with latex etc and thought to ask you guys.

    Firstly has anyone attempted this before?

    How would I go about it?

    Thanks!

    Justin

    [color=006699]Greetings,
    I believe that another forum will be very useful to you in this endeavour; [link=http://pub57.ezboard.com/bthemonsterlab]the monster lab[/link]
    I am currently working in rubber latex, and have been relieved by the results.
    In brief a process you could follow might look like this;
    [ol][li]Sculpt the hands and feet in clay.[/li][li]Mold the sculptures with plaster of paris -- there are more apporpiate materials that are a little harder to come by for this purpose.[/li][li]Clean the mold.[/li][li]Pour in or brush on the latex to a consistant thickness.[/li][li]Allow latex to cure.[/li][li]Demold.[/li][li]Paint. You will want to use a flexible paint.[/li][/ol]
    A great sight, if not thee sight for supplies; [link=http://www.monstermakers.com/]The Monster Makers[/link]

    Enjoy.[/color]
