So NV TSS Duel Tournament

I'd like to get a tournament going some night within the clan. If every one could please list a time within the next month or two of nights you'd be available I can get a schedule going. If you don't have the game yet but plan on getting it soon and would still like to participate, please say so. This is mainly to see if there is an interest in this.

 

tuesday & thursday nights are the best for me. fridays are so so, but its definitely the night i can stay on the longest.
just make sure you let me know, cause i'm IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

read your post this morning, so i tried to get on the duel server before work. played about three min. at the most, but then it kicks me off=
"CL_parsepacket entities" still!!
i DO NOT use crack (if ya know what i mean)
so i dont know man. sucks too, i like dueling, "i like it a lot"

Well I think I figured the problem with the dueling server. I have been online with this error and everything points to a bad NIC card. I do have a really good 3com that I am going to slap in there tonight when I get home. Until then it will have to be error city, sorry

I can switch the FFA server over to duel that's not a big deal.

 

I think for now, thats the best idea.
I'll be on almost every night this week.

 

ok servers have been switched. The FFA is now the Duel and the Dual is now FFA. I have bots on both so you don't get bored but they are incredibly easy and I don't have the cool maps that C had, but I'll work on that later.

sometimes it gets stuck in the intermision,(when everyone needs to click "ready")
are you even supposed to get that with bots??
bots dont click "ready", maybe i'm doing somthing wrong.

it's still doing that? ok I'm going on now to mess with it...

 

you're right bots don't click ready, but sometimes I've found that if it gets stuck, I can disconnect then reconnect to the server and click ready and it will "wake up"

I would have joined that game but my cable modem was out for a while. COX says they had router problems. It's obviously back up now, but no one is on....

9:00 hunh? I will try to be there. Have you guys seen that mod that will let you change your saber to ANY color you want? Pretty cool. Also you server people might want to check out a program called Jedirunner. It lets you configure a punch of stuff the game doesn't, like turning off individual force powers for one.

Yeah the saber color change mod is nice, use it and see if everyone else can see it. I'd like to know if it works that way or if it needs to be enabled on the server.

Yeah I've heard of Jedi Runner. It only runs on windows though. Cbielich and I are running Linux servers which do actually a lot more than jedi runner can, it's just a matter of finding the right variables.

I'm going to disable certian force powers on the duel server eventually, when I find the right variable., I'll probably only enable Jump, Push, Pull, and saber attack, defend, throw. If anyone objects to that say so, or if you have any other suggestions on force nerfing say so...

 

Anyone else have trouble last night??
I really dont think the trouble is with the server this time. Am i even more crazy, or is everyone's cable modem NOT AT 100%!!!
When my friend and i logged on, both he and i were getting pings of 250-1126 (1126!!!!!!!!!!!are you mad??????)
what the crap is up???? please tell me that cox is still having issues, i've never gotten a ping over 200, and thats not good!!
i'm calling cox today so i will post again soon.

whoa, I wasn't aware of any cable modem problems last night. That is rediculous! I know it's not my connection because I was on the internet with fantastic pings so I have no idea whats up.
