Very, very ready. First race at Daytona is a week from Saturday.
Hate the idea of the new Chase and this final race stuff, but trying to not keep that from getting me excited for my first Daytona 500 in person.
Lucky! I will be going next year.
Racing Saturday night at Daytona!
Sprint Unlimited field is Stewart, T. Labonte, Harvick, Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, McMurray, Brad Keselowski, Ambrose, Patrick, Hamlin, Stenhouse, Ky. Busch, Kenseth, Logano, Gordon, Johnson, Earnhardt, Edwards.
Should be a fun race, because we won't know the starting order or format until they announce it - all fan voting.
Racing is finally in sight!
Fun race tonight. Hamlin had the best car, but 4 and 18 mounted some epic comebacks at the end.
Lol, good thing for RSJ that Valentine's was yesterday..he destroyed Danica's car all by himself.
What are everybody's thoughts about the No. 3 car coming back this year?
Dillon-Truex will be the front row at the 500. Two Childress engines.
Stewart-Haas threw some trash out there today, lots of work to do for Harvick, Danica, Kurt, and Tony going into the Duels on Thurs.
What about the pacecar catching on fire? Duels tonight!
Kenseth to your face.
Hamlin won second duel which saw Jimmie Johnson run out of fuel thus causing a huge accident on the final lap.
Awful night for the 4 team, we'll be starting 38th on Sunday. At least we'll have Kyle, Logano, Keselowski, and 48 back there with us, all of which should be very fast. Kevin got some good practice moving back to front at the Unlimited last week, I'm expecting and will be pleased with top 10-15.
Great win for Regan Smith today - he's very deserving of a Cup ride, I hope his Nationwide season goes well. Also a good run for Bayne in 3rd.
Good for Dale and Kelley, too, as car owner and CEO!
Super Bowl tomorrow!
18 and 11 look awfully strong early. Not even a quarter through though, I love this pack racing- so unpredictable.
Hate the rain so much. Hope we can get it in tonight.
NASCAR does Twitter very well, though. Some photos:

It would appear that people on Twitter believe that JJ won the 500 today.
We're back under green at 8:30 PM EST.
Gonna be a late night of great racing.
NICE DALE! 88 strong, 24 was surprising to see up there late too.
Stinks that 4 wrecked at the end, but Harv drove a good race. On to Phoenix!
Very pleased to hear that Jr. won last night. The first NASCAR race I ever watched was the 2001 500, so I saw the last lap crash that took Dale Sr. I still recall that we were up at my grandparents' later that night when they announced on the news that Sr. had died. Made a pretty strong impression on my 11 year old self. I continued to watch races after that. Saw Jr.'s Daytona win in 2004. A month later, I got the chance to visit DEI in Mooresville, which was great. Naturally, I didn't get to meet Jr., but I did get to buy a No. 8 shirt.
I was at the 500. Even though I'm not a Junior fan, there was something magical about the crowd overpowering the engine noise on the final lap... Well worth the six hours of rain!
Going there next year is going to be awesome!
I'm going to try to get to Charlotte this year. If not, definitely doing the Coke 600 in 2015.
Really good article from Marty Smith on ESPN about Jr.'s win at Daytona, and parallels with going back to his own childhood home.
