For those of us that might be interested here is the link for TusCon 34. One never knows.. third time might be the charm.

 

Im sure it would be an awesome event for the book club, but for a costumed appearance? They wont even return the calls.

Now that there is a star wars book club here in town, I think it might be worth checking out to see if we could set up a table, it would be a great way to get the word out aboutt he book club

They were promoting the TusCon at the Library today, involving a writing contest. Not really relevant, I just wanted to beg to differ.

Don't worry. Some one will still count this as an event the TFF did.

 

It seems a tad expensive to attend but if anyone would like to go please take a camera or if you dont have one I can get you one. I would like to see how this goes to see if it is worth us trying to plan for it next year!

 

Most of the people who participate in Tus-con are, for the most part, SCA. Many of them I know personaly and am on good terms with. They tend to be a bit clickish to say the least. They also tend to have a Bathrobe and Broadsword mentality.
