TV Show Discussion Thread

I have heard of Dune the film, but I have never seen it. And if you culd lend me the tapes that would be great!

 

Oh I've been watching that and it's DA BEST! Oh I love it! Very good!

 

Well, if you all say its good then maybe I should see it

 

You'll see it soon enough. This Sunday they're showing them all at 5pm Pacific time on the SciFi channel. I recorded them so if anyone misses it this Sunday let me know at the meeting.

 

Sounds cool I may end up missing alot of them, but if I get a chance I'll watch a few.

 

Yeah well it will be put on tape probably as many series are which is good. I didn't tape them but I've been watching them.

Let's see here....another show that I used to watch was Hercules. I remember too they had tapes of Xenon and Hercules too. lol

 

Oh yeah, I remember Hercules it was a good show. that and Star Gate SG-1.

 

Hercules was ok I guess. I didn't see a whole lot of it.

 

Yeah, Hercules was okay but you can never forget the great show MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000)

 

Stargate is okay I've watched some of it but not all, my dad mostly watched that. Also another good mini series for Sci-Fi I can't remember what it's called but it was just on last month and the kid who played in the Luck of The Irish and Smart House was in it. It dealed with this guy being abducted by aliens all the time and etc. I never saw it but people said it was very good.

 

Was it that show Taken? that series was directed by Steven Speilberg.

 

It wasn?t directed at all by Steven Spielberg. He only presented it.

 

Whatever the case, I feel that that is the one Mertroid is trying to point out. My dad and me used to watch it somewhat.

 

Somewhat? Well watched most of it... it was hard to get into. I did watch the hour long special of how they made it, and how much Steven Spielberg wasn?t involved.

 

It was quite simple to get invovled in for me. For the graphics were cool. I also liked the story plot, very neat. And, no matter how much Speliberg was apar of it, either way it was great!

 

There you go! TAKEN is the name of it. I wanted to see that but I was busy and all. Well let's hope it goes on tape for I wanted to see it.

 

The parts I saw were quite good. I like the flash backs and the cut aways which connect everything together.

 

Oh don't rub it in! I'm kidding!
Well let's see another good show....Veridas Quest!

 

So did any of you see this weeks Trading Spaces and last weeks? Those rooms were awesome of what Hilde, Kira, and Vern had created with Jen.
It's like I want to move in some of these houses for the rooms they create!

 

Nope I am sorry I didn't. I wish I did though. Were they nice looking houses?

 

The rooms were! But they didn't show the houses but gosh I love the rooms! It's like I'll buy the house just for the room!

 

Oh I forgot to mention there was this one episode of While You Were Out, and gosh I like almost cried from watching it, the husband was redoing the bedroom for his wife, and with this he wanted to show he was ready to be a father so he ends up winning this crib for the room and his wife is all in tears when he says he's ready to be a father and the hostess asks if it's okay for him to say that on television and she's like yeah.
It was so sweet.

 

Yeah, I saw that show, it was uite touching, and really unique how he said that to her. Ah, what sweet people they were.
