Twilight is upon me and soon night must fall... that is the way of things... the way of APRIL FOOLS!

Well, it has been a fun two years. On April 2nd, 2002, Kadue invited me to join the Mod Squad. In that time, I?ve gone from bright-eyed and bushy-tailed newbie moderator to a curmudgeonly old administrator that constantly has to shoo kids off the lawn. There have been ups, and downs too. I?ve changed my name twice, been an official moderator for nine different forums at one point or another, and I like to think that I?ve made the boards a better place in some small way.

But all good things (and bad things too, for that matter) must come to and end. Those who know me well knew that this was coming. After putting in two years of service, I want to be a regular user again, free from worries about trolls and Drama, to get away from the policy-making, and to stop and smell the flowers along the way. I want to post more often than I?m able to now, too distracted by what?s going on behind the scenes. I signed up back in May 2000 so I could discuss Star Wars, and that?s what I want to do now. I won?t rule out a return to the Mod Squad one day, if they?re willing to take someone like me back ? and it?s a miracle I got in the first time if you ask me. For now, two full years seems like a nice round number.

I've gotten the set-up for April Fools out of the way, with all the jokes I had planned played. Now, I'll leave it to others to clean up the mess that I've made.

So, I guess that this is it, and there are a few people I want to thank for making the last few years fun. As a character from another well-loved saga once said, I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve!

AmazingB: Your name says it all, and I learn a new thing about you every day. In my opinion, you were exactly what a JCC moderator should be.

anakin_girl: I admire the way that you?re willing to take a stand for what you believe in. While you?re not always as? diplomatic? about it as some would like, that doesn?t make the point you bring up any less valid, nor does it diminish your courage in bringing them up.

Bib Fortuna, Twi?lek: Good luck getting to 100k man, and keep having fun along the way.

Bria: You sometimes drop by Literature, and you?re almost a Canadian. Nobody is perfect, but you get closer every day.

Caine: You?re one of many I don?t see around much anymore, which is a shame. You were always one of my favorite people to discuss books of any sort with.

Dark Lady Mara: Best. Moderator. Ever. Why did you have to leave?

DarthSapient: Mr. TheForce.net, you get around to more forums and make a greater contribution here than most people realize. I hope you?re still here at the very end.

Darth_Ignant: You make a great bitter ex-mod. Keep up the good work.
