So NV Twin Suns Syndicate Star Farm

For those that don't know, a star farm is just posting to get stars. I haven't gotten my first yet so I'm gonna try now.

I got a tech question for the computer nerds around here. It involves Windows 2000 and IE 6.

 

For the last few weeks or so, whenever I have more than one IE window open IE freezes. I then have to shut it down from the Windows 2k task manager. It is really annoying. I'm not sure what started it, but I think it might have something to do with Gator. I don't know how gator got on my computer, but it won't ever go away. I tried updating my IE from 5.5 to 6.0, but it didn't do anything. I'm not sure how to get rid of Gator completely either. All help is appreciated.

 

I am also looking for a new job so if anyone sees ANYTHING available at more than $10/hr please let me know. I really mean anything. I'm working as an Assistant Manager at a linens store so even a secretary would be a step up on the Man-O-Meter. I would be a darn good secretary too. I'd even wear short skirts if that was required. Please help me...

 

Has anyone besides me played Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds? Its a really cool game. Its a lot like Starcraft in gameplay, which used to be my favorite real time strategy game, but this is Star Wars so its way better. And you can play as Darth Vader and wipe out a whole map by yourself. There's also a cheat that allows you to create Super Ewoks that totally RULE!

 

According to board rules, your posts have to be meaningful in some way. So let's use this as a generic thread to talk to each other and let everyone know whats going on. Since, this is my 50th post and my 1st star, I'm going to bed. Goodnight everyone

 

hmm as far as the IE proplem goes I'd suggest reinstalling windows. Thats the only way to get rid of gator. Or reinstall Gator, then uninstall it. Another option is to download a differnt browser like Nutscrape or opera etc... but those all suck commpared to IE. But at least you can have multiple windows open.

 

Galactic Battlegrounds? Havn't played it. I've been playing Jedi Knight. Which I strongly recommend. And since I just got my dedicated server up we can all get together some night if and when everyone gets the game.

 

Stars? What the heck are you talking about? I have yet to see stars by anyone's name... or have I? I can't remember...

I got at least 191 posts, and I have no stars that I can see...

 

By the way, I was really being serious about the job thing.

I already have a star,and its really hard to find out if you do or not. I remember it has something to do with clicking on a watched user, then checking their rect posts or something to that effect.
