It depends on what each Chapter want from it tbh. For some, it's just another way to make a few more friends and have another group on our boards. Bit like having a foreign pen pal I guess, opening a link to other communities. Success of a twinning is down to the individual members of each chapter, some work, some don't. It isn't a commitment really, just an opening of friendship, and I guess would be good if people in UK were to go to Greece and could meet their FF twin members and likewise if Greek people came here.

 

oh, of course... the greek fanforce is very young, though.

lol! Well, let's wait till elections are done here, then the CR can start afresh on twinning, I think we tried Germany and then it went quiet.

I think Canada was mentioned at the beginning of the thread, but we decided we wanted a chapter that would be in Europe:

1. Because the other chapters on the FFUK have American ones.

2. But mainly because we wanted ones within easy travelling so that we can go visit them at some point.
