That's true, and it's so rare to find a really good burger in Memphis.

When my buddy dave comes back in town from AZ, he always has to see a movie with stadium seating, have some BBQ, and go to Huey's as many times as he can while he's here! We actually ate at 4 or 5 different ones last time he was here.

Had an awesome time tonight guys. Sorry I had to leave early but I figured my windup was letting me down so I'd go out gracefully. Well as gracefully as I could go out with a score of 19.

I just want to thank everyone for what was one of the best get-togethers in a long time! We had a fantastic time, and it was great to see some old friends, as well as some fresh faces. I hope we can do this again real soon.

Once again, fate struck down a chance to get together with you guys. About 3:30, I started having a terrible, painful headache that I hoped would go away by the time we had to head out for Tim and Traci's house. Well, it never got better and never went away. Sorry I missed you guys. Hopefully, we can catch up with you soon.

I hope to see some pics of the event on the website soon.

Well, for those who missed out last night, you missed a hell of a lot of fun.

Dale: If I had tried the Fred Flintstone-style of bowling you did last night, I wouldn't be able to move today! I'm still laughing. It was great to see you after such a long time, and it was especially nice to meet your wife, April.

John: Or should I say, "The Man We Want As Our Vader": Had a great time with you. I'm looking forward to sitting down and talking with you in a quieter environment. Give me a shout with your phone numbers and such. We get together unofficially all of the time, and you are more than welcome to come and hang out and shoot the breeze with us.

BTW- The pins had it in for you. You got robbed out of more strikes than I've ever seen. And I tried to find the site for the lanes, but couldn't find an official one. The info we had came from AOL's Digital City, and it did say $10 for 2 hours, $12 for 3!!!! I'm going to call the lanes and tell them that they need to fix it, or give us what was advertised.

Sal: You were the man last night. I had no idea you could bowl so well.

Kell: Or should I say, "Ms. Smooth Release": I was really blown away at the smooth way you released the ball. I couldn't even hear it touch the lane! One question: Where did you get the ESB shirt? I want one!

Ash: It was great to meet you! I hope you can come to our future get-togethers.

Lin: We've got to get some of those pics you had up on the site. Your artwork is amazing- much better than your bowling! :p (Like I have any room to talk. I was just having a good night.)

Tim: CONTROL!!! YOU MUST LEARN CONTROL!! :p Man, you put some Force-lightning behind that ball last night! I think you had the most powerful throw of the group.

Rhonda: Or should I say "Ms. Bodacious Curve Ball": I held my breath every time your ball rolled towards the gutter, and then popped back to the center. You put The Force to work last night, didn't you?

Traci: You get extra points for actually bowling more that one game. We now know that white wine + you= bowler. It also equals disco queen.

Thanks to everybody, again, for coming out and joining us, and for making last night's event the most successful in a long time. I'm looking forward to a great year with a great bunch of people!

I'm still wanting to bowl some more. Who wants to join me?

    Anyone?

    Anyone?

    Anyone?

It was good seeing (and meeting!) everyone again last night! We must do it again!

John, April, Kell, and Ash - it was great meeting you last night! Hope to see you around! Like Tim said, we often just hang out unofficially and drink, watch movies, shoot the SW breeze, and play board games like SW Trivia, Cranium, etc. We're more like a group of friends than a "fan club". In fact, I guess you'd say we started as a "club" and just became a group of friends!

Lin, thanks for the book! Itis really cool! I'd never seen this one and I thought I just about had them all!

Dale and April, we'll have to trade more stories on our kitties the next time! Fellow cat owners! One of my cats is nicknamed Vader for his "presence" - big, scary and black! (but really just a teddy bear)

    So, skating next time?!? [face_laugh]

Dale: Great to finally put a face to 'Irish Thunder', and to meet your wife, April. You've got one helluva SW collection!

John: "The Man We Want As Our Vader": I second that motion! Great meeting you. Hope you can join us again. I think you'll really get a kick out of the Drive-In Movie Nights and some of the informal board game get-togethers. Looking forward to trying one of your Maragrittas! Oh, those videos on 103 are gone-but I've got most downloaded and can burn you a CD if you'd like. I've also got a few fan-films.

Sal: Great seeing you again, buddy. Have missed hanging out with you and seeng you on the boards!

White pins, red necks, and brown ball- heh, heh...

Kell: Good seeing you again! Thanks for bringing a friend. I know Traci and Rhonda don't mind having more girls around to help counter-act all the testosterone they have to put up with from us guys!

Ash: Great to meet you, thanks for coming! Really dug both of the SW shirts! Hope you can make it to MSC and DIMNs.

Tim C: Exactly how many times did you knock pins out into the gutter?! That was great! Good seeing you again, too.

Rhonda: You're more than welcome for the SW book. When I'm out and see stuff like that on sale I always try to pick up an extra 'cause someone in the group probably doesn't have one.

Traci: Thanks for playing some KISS, Saliva and Queen last night! Didn't help my bowling, but made not mind sucking at it so much!

Tim B: Our fearless and OCD leader- congrats on another great SMT event! Had a great time, and didn't know you were such a good bowler, either! I'll check on the hockey outting to see the RiverKings, and I'll scan the pics I brought- at least the SW/Doreman ones. I'll also get you the shots from last night in a day or so.

Skating...I'm game if the rest of you are! Although, I suggest getting wrist guards before- they're pretty cheap at the sports stores, and much cheaper than a visit to the ER!

Thanks again for everyone that made it out- I had a blast hanging out with ya! For anyone who didn't, you were missed and hope you can all make it next time around, or at the MSC in March!

Ash and I had a lot of fun last night! It was great putting faces to names. I wish my other friend could have come too, I'll drag her along next time, hopefully.

At least I didn't fall this time :D I'm already sore, though. lol.

(I think both ash and mine's star wars shirts both came from hot topic. I know mine did, but it was ages ago I bought it..)

Anyway, thanks everyone! Can't wait til next time :D

Please do bring them, and if they have a SW t-shirt all the better!

I think the last SW shirt I bought was from Suncoast. I'll have to go by the Hot Topic in the Hickory Ridge Mall- I usually hit the mall at lunch once or twice a month. I noticed they had some cool GhostBusters t's a while back. I'd love to have a BeetleJuice one!

Kell, I meant to say something about that ESB shirt last night, I'd like one like that, just wouldn't be able to fit in one just that size. ESB ROCKS!

and Tim, who say I'm not be sore?

I would take the time and effort to mention something about all the wonderful people last night but I don't quite have the energy. Believe me, it would be good things though. Between last night and a hour and a half in the gym today, I'm about dead, and I've already taken a 2 hour nap. I should've never gotten so fat. But then I wouldn't have been able to buy that sweet ass hockey jersey last night, DOUBLE XL DOUBLE XL!!!!

Stop motion animation/action figure porn never turns out quite like you want it too. Of course, adding in a stuffed Dozer (fragle rock) and the Stay Puff marshmallow man never helps things. I wish I still had the tape....I might actually somewhere. Time for a treasure hunt.

There are just some things you don't want to see in life. It be kinda like walking in on your grandparents while they're going at it.

I've never seen that, but I'd much rather see Big Head Han Solo tagging Teela than seeing Gramms and Gramps bumping fuzzies.
