Truth be told, I didn't renew my license, becauise A) I can't afford it and B) I've got a lot of "life stuff" that I'm working on right now, and I need to have a clear head. For over a decade now, I go through extended periods, like a year or longer, where I don't partake... I'm in one of those now, and probably will be for a pretty good while. Anyways... I'm leaving for the hospital soon. My check-in is at 10. See you on the other side... or something.
I'll be thinking about you today, Kristie, with best hopes for a speedy and full recovery and quick mastery of your bionic limbs.
Because I reread the opening post and you said lady parts stuff, this part of your post jumped out at me and I initially misinterpreted it pretty hilariously. Good luck!
Man, I first read this as "two burglaries in one day" and wondered how you made such powerful enemies. Now that I've read it right, I wish you all the best. And please please don't worry about croaking. We all do strange things under anesthesia, and making animal sounds is fairly innocuous. Except maybe a hyena's laugh - that might distress the other patients. Seriously though, sending you good wishes as you recover.
I love how this is the first time I've actually noticed this thread in 2 years. I look forward to your survival from more surgeries though.
Good luck! Sooner it's done the sooner you can recover. And please don't stand on any chairs for the rest of your life.
hope all goes/went well. ask them to install a zipper so if further work is done, they've got easier access.
Man, I know how much nagging medical problems and repeated surgeries sucks and hurts and etc... I feel for you Kristie. I hope you are hanging in there right now. Obviously you don't feel well but hopefully at least they're giving you some drugs to make it a bit more tolerable.
