Two Towers this weekend

I figured I'd just start a new thread rather than digging waaaay back to find the old TTT thread.

Could I interest anyone in going to see TTT again this coming weekend? It's still playing, and I'd like to get another viewing or two in before it goes away. Cyodarun, are you still up for it? My schedule is open, so either day that works for everyone else...

 

I would like to, where is it playing? Do they have it at the Cinema Grill?

Well, as far as local houses still showing the Two Towers, we have four choices:

Tiffany Plaza 6
Intersection Of Hampden Avenue and Tamarac Street, Denver

Elvis Cinemas Kipling 6 Theatre
6014 South Kipling Street, Littleton,

United Artists Colorado Mills 16
14500 W. Colfax, Lakewood

Studio Theatre Corp. Westminster 5
5991 West 88th Ave., Westminster

As most of these fall under the "bargain" theater heading, the length of time that a movie is slotted to run is based strictly on sales. So, as long as they continue to turn a certain level of profit, the movie will continue to be shown.

Tiffany is a decent theatre, with respectably cheap prices. Havent' been to the "Elvis" since it re-opened under new Mgmt. as the Elvis. For those up north, the Westy 5 is probably the closest bet. Haven't sampled Colorado Mills yet either.

I would love to go, I think Sat. early would be the only time I have free this weekend tho.

 

Sat morning / early afternoon would work for me. I don't see times up for Sat yet, though.

Shall we tentatively set an early-ish Sat show, dependent on the actual schedule that comes out?

 

Or you guys could watch it at someone's house...

 

Hmmm? I know there are copies of TTT out there, but I don't actually have one. The DVD comes out in Aug.

Your blowing my plan to do nothing at all this weekend.
I just wanted to stay in bed all day & night. I guess I'll get my chance after May 7th, dad will be gone

 

Maybe you can go back to bed after the movie on Sat? Going back to sleep in the afternoon could be just as cool as not getting up.

You make the call. Early is good for me, a nap in the afternoon sounds good to me.

Kim, if you want to carpool give me a call. However, we are going to have to head back up north right after the movie!!!! Were supposed to be at a bbq at 4:00.

 

We are taking off in about 5, will head to KB's around 11:30 and then to the theatre at 11:55.

Get up!!!!!!! It's not like you all stayed out all nite or anything!
