You didn't express an opinion; you missed the point in the kind of way that we're likely to tell our grandchildren about.

The piece was clear and unambiguous in the point it was making. Falcon and War Machine are both black heroes who are given agency by their proximity to and relationship with white heroes. Falcon was helping out veterans before Cap called on him; the Avenger that Sam became was dependent on Cap.

The same is true of Rhodes and the suit - it's all down to Tony.

Black Panther is not comic relief, nor is his mantle conveyed by white people. His origins are thoroughly Wakandan.

It does not mean Falcon or Iron Patriot are bad, it just means that Black Panther is the first black hero in the current crop of superhero films to have an origin independent of whites.
