Oh god me too! I didn't know what coverage we had in the US, cuz I was in Germany for the 2006 World Cup. And Germans of course showed every dang game... :)

ABC will be airing every game just like they did with WC06, spread over ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC.

My prediction is that this is Spain's year. With the best keeper in the world on current form, one of the best strikers, a great midfield, and a decent defense... they've got a shout. I'll be rooting for Germany, though.

I've decided I'm rooting for Portugal, given the Man Utd connection.

It's going to be great. Group C alone is going to be amazing to watch, I can not remember a group from any knockout competition ever being so stacked.

    Full schedule in English

I'm glad that some of them are on the weekend. :) I guess that's the downside of having a 9-5 internship.

I don't feel that I have a favorite this year for some reason. It's a little depressing. I'm tentatively imagining supporting maybe Spain, Czech Republic, or Holland.

Oh man... I was out at a sports bar near my alma mater tonight and they had two Bundesliga football games on... it got me so stoked for the Euro Cup! I am so all over this.

The Bundesliga used to be great and competed right up there with the Spanish, Italian and English leagues, but their teams have been anonymous in European competition lately. It's a shame :(

Which team in the Bundesliga do you usually support, Strilo?

I am not sure my knowledge of the Bundesliga is advanced enough to even get to that point where I support certain teams. I am not sure what level they are playing at, but VfB Stuttgart will always be in there for me, as I lived there.

Yeah they're still in the Bundesliga. They finished 6th this season, so they've qualified for the Intertoto (if they win it they'll qualify for the UEFA Cup next year).

Well the great thing about the Bundesliga is that there is quite a bit of parity

you know like the NFL where there are different teams that win. In the Bundesliga there are new teams that win and the teams aren't seperated by such a wide margain like in the Premeir league.

Premeir League its Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea always at the top then comes Everton, Tottenham, Portsmouth, Blackburn and then there's the rest. Its been this way for about 3 years now.
