Well, solid start to Misfits season 3.

Missed Nathan, but new guy is interesting.

 

It was entertaining. I miss Nathan, too, but I actually think the show held up pretty well without him. The new guy seems a good addition to the cast, and I like his power. I do wish the returning cast's new powers were a little more exciting - I understand the reason for the change, particularly the need to keep the kids from being too powerful (Kelly's ability to read minds should have been able to sort out several problems in past episodes, for starters) and the need to keep the effects cheap, but their new powers seem kind of dull.

I finally got around to watching the last episode of The Fades. Grim.

 

Holy ****. THAT was a brilliant episode.

Wow.

 

Misfits continues to be entertaining. I'm glad there is no sign that they have run out of stories.

 

Well, cool final to Misfits. The new guy was as good as Nathan, I think.

Would have been a very good final episode ever, but it's been renewed for a 4th season.

But I just read that Alisha's left, which makes you wonder if Simon's out too. Hard enough for a 5 piece ensemble cast to lose 2 characters. Three may be too many.

 

^Yeah, I was pretty shocked by the way things turned out. Bringing in two new cast members (which I assume they'll do) might breathe new life into the show... or kill it. I suspect any new cast members will be a little on the pretty side, though I wouldn't mind being proven wrong on that count - actors that are ordinary-looking and talented would be preferable to good-looking and bland, imo. We'll just have to see how it goes.

The Almighty Johnson's premiered on SyFy tonight. It was as fun as I remembered. SyFy have been giving it a fair amount of publicity, and the Radio Times made it one of their Picks of the Day, so I think it's off to a good start.

 

I never watched Skins before. I've been curious about it and might watch it on Hulu.

Now I love Misfits. I definitely miss Nathan but the new guy is growing on me.

Misfits is renewed? I'll admit that I really liked Rudy, but I thought they put a nice ending on the whole thing.

 

Last I heard Misfits was coming back, but only Curtis from the original cast.

It's OK so far (Misfits). Kinda gross, but funny.

 

I'll have to see if I can catch it.

 

I've just watched it. Didn't think much of the episode at all - didn't find it funny, and now I'm worried that the show has completely jumped the shark. On the other hand, Karla Crome is beautiful, so there is that.

I'm enjoying the 2nd season of The Almighty Johnsons, though I don't like it as much as I did season 1.

 

Rudy is still a good reason to watch. I think he's very funny.

 

Agreed. But that was an odd season opener.

 

Misfits ep. 3 was excellent. Hilarious, gross, disturbing and... hot.

I wonder what Bartender Dude's deal is...

 

He was going out with Kelly just fine last season.

Edit: Oh, maybe I'm thinking Bartender and Power-trading dude are the same, maybe I'm getting confused.
