I think that palpatine killed them because more or less they just knew too much and couldn't be counted on like Pestage.

 

Or because he just likes killing people.

 

And that ol' anti-alien bias might have bubbled to the surface at that point.

Jar Jar is a fairly big character, as far as pereferal characters go. I wouldn't completely discard the possibility of seeing him pop up sometime in the post ROTJ EU, especially with Luke and Leia finding out more about their parents.
