    Rakata vs. Killiks

Oh imagine the thrilling ancient battles as it's BUG VS. BUG-EYED!

Somewhere in the basement of Lucasfilm, there is a troll with a laptop conjuring a 2 book arc.

Sorry, but we generally discourage "what if" threads AND "vs." threads so this is a double-whammy!

Hey, anytime there's the possibility that those moronic bugs will be slaughtered I'll be sure to get ringside seats! [face_dancing]

It would be nice to see the Celestials hammer both species to extinction and beyond.

The Killiks could take Rakata joiners.

Even so, I'm not really sure the Killiks would bother waging a war before UnuThul, unless they had some equivelant joiner. They'd be pretty awful at it.

From the Wookieepedia article on Gungans:

"Ancient starfarers tell tales of great Gungan migrations across the plains of Naboo prior to their shift to more aquatic environs. The reason most commonly accepted for their flight to the water revolves around an alien civilization of reptilian humanoids remembered as the "Elders", who colonized Naboo around 7,032 BBY. They engaged in warfare with the Gungans, forcing them to retreat underwater, giving rise to modern Gungan civilization.

7000 BBY -- that's rather late for the Rakata to be doing anything, though.

Maybe the Rakata's were trying to rebuild their civilization and thought "Hey, a bunch of Gungans. This will be easy."

when the rakata considered gungans to be their slaves.. they truly signed their own undoing.

    gungan gunners vs. slave revoltees..

well, the Elders of the Gungans look like humans with duro eyes, their statues actually, godlike in their modern culture.

That's if those are the same "Elders" mentioned above, and if those are actually Gungan statues, rather than Naboo statues.
