Ummm...August

So far I haven't got a thing planned out for this month. Unless you want to all attend my belly dancing debute at the Greecian Gardens on August 21 from 7-9.

Any ideas for activites this month would be good.

 

I'm entertaining the idea of going to PAX (in seattle). Aug 28,29 Anyone wanna carpoll/caravan?

And I am so totally interested in going. I know I can make it on Saturday the 28th but I would have to be back for my meetings on Sunday.

Also, AmberEyes' movie sounds good, as does the belly dancing event. Is that something that I would to bring singles to?

 

Gaming tournament huh? I'll pass. But a get together at AmberEyes sounds doable. I would have came to the drive in thing last Saturday, but I was totally broke. Yeah, made for a fun weekend.

 

well I am moving the 13th of Aug. so I hope we can plan something before I move so I can see everyone before I leave if not then thats good to

 

I just found out this evening that Greecian Gardens is $12.50 a person. You have to reserve the tickets and they do have a vegetarian platter that can be chosen from.

the cost includes, food, tax, gratuity and entertainment of course. If you would like to attend, then please let me know.

We are still working out the details on that, and I will post as much information on it as I get it.

 

Potluck sounds good to me, but I have no BBQ grill. Anyone else interested in doing a potluck at my place last Saturday of the month?

Yes it would.

The activity this month will be on Saturday August 28. It will start at 6:30. I'll e-mail out the address to those who are interested in attending.

It will be a potluck gaming night. So bring your favorite dish and a Star Wars game.

I'll be lugging along my Monopoly games, Episode 1 Battleship, SW Life, Star Wars Trivial Pursuite and Stratego.

 

That sounds fun. I can bring my SW Electronic Battleship if you like.

 

The fates seem to be conspiring against me..I'll be in California from the 20th 'till the 30th. Oh well, I'll make it next month...No really..I will!...REALLY!

For everyone else, in addition to bringing potluck & a game if you have one (or two) please bring a pillow or something to sit on. I have only 2 plastic yard chairs and a cedar chest to sit on.

Maybe we can have a battleship tournament. Since we might have 3 games, that's enough for 6 people to play.

 

ill bring my swords!!! oh wait... star wars games. I get that mixed up with medieval steel weapons all the time

 

I don't know if i'll be able to make it cause school starts the 20th and such. So if i'm not to busy i'll try and make it! I haven't seen ya'll for awhile!
