Do scout uniforms count? ;) I remember SM, another guy & I all being sent home from a scout camp in our younger days.
Apart from that, I was in 11/28 Battalion for a few years. The only other time I've had anything to do with the military was when I was running computer courses for the regiment at Swanbourne barracks a year or two ago. I always like to tell people I've trained SAS. :)

School Uniform and sport's dress uniform. That's about as far a I'll go. I'm glad those school uniform days are long gone.

Of course Scout uniforms count-I have been known as a V.L along the way, I served with pride at 1st Fernadale.
My other uniform was military, 12 years with the Air Force.

    Logistics(pretty title)
Most of the time worked at Airmovements(the best job EVER) have played with Explo, DC lots of aircraft including Galaxy, Starlifter, Hercs etc and Airmovements are the support crew to visiting forces and our own(Navy Seals, SAS, Green Beret, Comm Reg etc)

As you can probably see--I LOVED my job.

PS: I was also a Police Scouter, did the gang show in Midland and the Bush Bash in Northam..

I was in Guides and Brownies, though I always wanted to be in Scouts instead. My Dad was the local scout leader so I got to go on a few Scout camps. Crawling through the bush on a lantern stalk with the guys is much more fun than learning to cook with a bunch of girls. Yuuccckkk!!!!!

As a VL that was the big comment I heard most.
Us females don't want to cook and clean--we want to have fun..

The group I went through cubs and scouts with really fizzled by the time I got to Venturers. A real shame. My oldest brother managed to get his Queen Scout award (presented personally by the queen on one of her rare visits even), but my other brother & I never got the chance.

Going by the reports in the news recently, you'd be just as well served playing football against John Hopoate.

I don't think playing against him is a problem. It's playing in front of him that I'd be worried about. :p

No-for they are evil, although an allowance can be made for the person who wears them.
