After requisitioning some more appropriate military apparel, traditional khaki colored clothing that was purposely a size or two too big, since the common state of dress was rather tight fitting, and Ryn hated to be constricted by their garments. He made short work of the sleeves with is vibroshiv, and stretched the tall collar as much as he could to accommodate his fur. Feeling rather dapper, though he was sure the Colonel would not approve of the alterations, he walked back to his room, where he clipped on his gun belt, and pinned, with a smile, his new rank insignia to his breast.

For an alien thief of a commonly disliked species, he was advancing at a rather rapid pace.

He finally decided to make a call, making his way to the communications center. Two Comms Officers were in the small room, which looked like a converted closet more than a Comms Center, and they snapped to attention as soon as he walked in.

"Erm.." He said, rather new at this commanding officer thing, "...At ease?" He said, with a hint of uneasiness in his voice. "I need a message sent out Comm Chanel 68S909F8 on Ord Mantell, make it read, 'Handler, forward to "The Captain"...Calling in favor, good hours, good pay, lots of fun. -Blue' and follow the message with contact information."

"Will do sir. Anything else." Gaph paused as he was leaving the room, and turned to the man.
"Yes, take five, you boy's earned it."

Walkways in route to the warehouse.

Alpha now wore a metallic black suit of mandalorian armor with dark green accents. He now matched and looked like the death on legs that he was. It was 10 minutes after he had left the shop that he recieved the comm from Boom. They had the additional 50k credits and boom asked a strange question.

    Desintigrated anyone?

"I have knocked people out with a single punch, I have shot grown men in the kneecaps with a projectile round and made them cry for their mothers. I have stabbed men in the skull with a long sharp object. But I dont think I have ever Desintigrated anyone... might have to try that though it sounds interesting. I'll meet you at base Boom. Pick up anything you deem necisary for the mission, weaponry, rations, replacement parts. Anything you think we might need for our short stay here."

He got that feeling again. Unease. Like someone was walking in his personal space and staring at his face without saying anything. Someone watching him. But his HUD showed no one. Well he wasnt trying to hide.... But he didn't like being followed. For now though, he continued on to the warehouse. They had work to do.

    Warehouse

Boom arrived at the warehouse before 99 and began to set up the preliminary equipment. He would leave any purchasing of equipment or supplies to the Major since Boom already had what he deemed necessary for the mission. He connected a couple medium sized data pads to some communications boxes and other technology, making sure the transmission was well encrypted should they need to contact the alliance from here.

All he had to do now was wait for 99 to arrive so they could begin the next phase of their mission.

99 arrived a while after Boom and took off his helmet. He strode accross the landing and noted the building and its every detail.

"Good choice Boom. I couldnt have asked for a better place. Now all we need to do is wait for our target to come to u..."

    *KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

    "...... That was fast....."

99 walked to the door, replacing his helmet and pulling a pistol from its holster. He got to the door and clicked the hammer back on his gun. Alpha slowly opened the door with one hand while he stood on the opposite side. The door kicked in and knocked his hand away. Immediatly following a man in very simliar armor rushed the door and instead of aiming for Boom, he immediatly turned like he knew where 99 had been and knocked his gun away. The man felt familiar somehow to 99. Alpha got pulled into a headlock which put him in the path of Booms field of fire. He was herded out the front door by his assailant. The man hit a button on 99 jetpack and sent him flying into the air, then activated his own and followed. The major regained control and landed on the roof of the warehouse, followed closely by his attacker. He immediatly ripped his second pistol from its place and brought to bear just as a projectile fiber cord shot out and wrapped around his gun arm, twisting it to the side and throwing his second pistol aside.

99 activated his wrist gauntlets and ejected a foldout vibro blade much like the one he had on his clone armor. He cut the cord and stood waiting for a volly of blaster fire. But it didn't come. Instead he stood looking at his mirror image. The only difference was the style of armor and color. Dark green with darker red almost maroon accents. Instead of a kama this man wore a similar fabric over his shoulder. 99 Had never seen that before. But his fighting style was SO familiar.

    .....Boba......

He removed his helmet and the stranger did the same.

    "Bob'ika?"

"Do not talk to me in Mando'a you reject. You are no more mandalorian than I am."

He didn't know what to do. If Boba Fett was the one they had been sent to retrieve than this wasn't going to be a short mission. Not at all.

"What are you doing here Boba?"

"Working for the highest bidder, and right now my target is you. I cant say that I am not going to enjoy this."

"Don't do this ner'vod, we are the same."

Boba Fett stuffed his helmet back on and charged, tossing his weapon aside.

"I told you NOT TO SPEAK IN MANDO TO ME, WE ARE NOT THE SAME! YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER!"

99 quickly snapped his helmet back in place before being tackled. They scuffled for a moment but 99 managed to get a knee into Boba's chest, pushing him off and away. 99 Was an ARC trooper and was trained by Jango himself.

    But so was Boba Fett.

Boom had followed out as fast as he could and jumped up, aided by his repulsars, to where the battle was waging. The two men were in far too close of melee combat for any of Boom's normal weaponry. Instead he followed suit, locked his hands into his waist and his blades sprung to life from his wrist socket, one the full length, the other only coming out half. The two men continued to fight as Boom advanced.

When he was within 5 meters, the green armored man suddenly rolled to the side and launched a rocket from his knee pad towards Boom. 99 watched as the explosion shook Boom's shield generator and when the smoke cleared, his head was missing and he fell to his knees, then onto his chest.

The two rolled around exchanging punches brutally, a word here and there and finally the green armored man got the upper hand. With an upward flick of his elbow, 99's helmet came off and his head was immediately met with a forceful head butt from Boba's helmet. In the moment 99 was dazed, the green armored man stood up and took aim. At that moment a large and familiar burst came from Boom's neck as a large Ion pulse shot towards the man in green armor at near point blank range.

Over the base?s PA system came the Colonel?s voice. ?Attention Lieutenants Gaph, Creed, and Medcraft please report to the hanger with their gear for immediate departure. That is all.?
John reached the hanger a few minutes later and stowed his gear. He started the preflight sequence, and waited for the others.
An hour ago this would have seemed ludicrous, but John would be Kriffed if he would leave Da?.John?s thoughts were interrupted as Gaph, Creed, and Medcraft entered the hanger at a dead run, Gaph still struggling to get a shirt on, carrying or dragging their equipment with them. They ran up the ramp, and started to stow their gear. Medcraft was the first to speak. ?What the hell is going on??Sir.? John looked at Medcraft for a second, then addressed all of them.
?Twenty minutes ago, I recived Intel that a Imperial shuttle transporting prisoners is docked at the Chelsta Two station, they will be there for three hours, while they take on more prisoners. They have two assault shuttles for escorts, and two squads of Stormtroopers. It will take us an hour to get there, and about thirty to forty minutes to dock. This means we need to act fast. Our objective is one of the prisoners.?
John paused for a second. ?It?s Dacen. Apparently he was taken captive before they blew the blastboat up.? John looked at everyone in the compartment. ?I, for one, will not let him rot in the spice mines. This is strictly a volunteer mission, whoever wants out can leave now.?

OCC: Just something to past the time until the next mission. This should be easy. just a smash and grab.

"Lt. Gaph to Communications. Lt. Gaph to Communications"

Gaph's eyes cracked open at the sound of hearing his name called over the station's intercom system. It hadn't been more than ten or twelve hours since he sent off his message but that may have been long enough, especially if his friend was running low on jobs.

Gaph wearily made his way to the Communications room, throwing his uniform shirt on as he went. This job wasn't all he had hoped for, but it was money and a way to keep from getting killed by Imps. Well, killed sooner.

The door slid open with a pneumatic hiss as he tapped the key pad. The same men were at the station, and he wondered if they weren't the only two qualified for the job on this station.

"Sir, we just received a message for you, we assumed it pertained to you last communication." One said as he handed Gaph a piece of flimsy. The Rebels had taken to using flimsy for their secret messages rather than digital transmittance because it was far easier to destroy.

    Blue
Transmit rendevous details to 345F55G998X level 7 encryption. It's been too long friend, and I hope this job pays as well as you say.

    --The Captain
"What would you like us to reply sir?" The officer asked as Gaph finished reading the message. Gaph rubbed his face, and stifled a yawn.
"Send back, 'Big Jo'an's...Drinks on me.'" He said as he turned and briskly walked from the Communications Center.

It didn't take him long to track down the Colonel after that, the base was big, but not big enough to get lost in. Gaph had a suspicious feeling their was more to the HQ than he had originally thought, possibly a second half to house the on duty personal that weren't specifically part of the team...or maybe they just were transported in and out every so often. Either way, he had found who he was looking for.

"Colonel." He said, approaching the man. "Requesting permission to leave base and Rendevous with possible new team member. He's an old mechanic mate of mine, used to fly fighters during the Clone Wars."

"Colonel," Alixe said, a carbine slung over her shoulder, "I think I speak for all of us when I say these Stormtroopers are at the top of our list." The reasons were clear, one of their own was a prisoner of war, en route to die as a slave in the Empire's spice mines. The aging soldier looked around for confirmation.

Gaph paused as the news just hit him. He really was tired and had pretty much drown the Colonel out. Dacen wasn't dead. Dacen was alive.

"Sir, the Rendevous won't take long. We can meet up with him then have him help us in the mines, a little training mission so to speak." He paused for a second. "Besides, I seen him do the Kessel Run in 17 Parsecs, was closer than any Imperial would get. He's our man for a speedy get away."

Boom got his head blown off. 99 was dazed and confused. Taking a blow to the head from a solid durasteel surface was never anything pleasant. His vision was swimming. He saw Boba close on him with his blade. There was a blinding blue flash and Boba was knocked backwards, off of the roof. Now on top of everything else, 99 had flash blindness. He couldnt see, his ears were ringing, and his head felt heavy.

The immediate danger it seemed, was over. Boom's oversiezed cannon had dealt with that. 99 groped around for his helmet but he couldnt find it. Instead, Alpha-99 had been knocked into the direction of his pistol, his fingers closed around it and he leveled it as he slowly got to his feet. His vision was starting to return slowly. It was still blurred but he could make out solid objects. He spoke and barely heard his own voice. It sounded so distant.

".....oom...... oom... o ok... oom?" 99 heared a distant whistling and it grew louder, and louder.. and it threatened to overtake his senses. And then it stopped and he could hear again.

"Boom! Boom are you ok? Wheres Boba Fett?"

He still sumbled but it was a bit more controlled now. He moved over to his helmet and took it in as his vision was steadiy growing more clear. Boba had used his vibroblade to rip it off of 99's head. And it had left a long gash across the T visor. Only serving to make it look more fearsome.

"Lets get out of here Lieutenant...We are outmatched and unprepared for this."

If we are going to butt heads with Bob'ika I am going to need a lot more to play with than a jet pack and slug throwers. But I will see Boba again, of that I am sure. Next time... it's personal. He wasnt the only one Jango trained. Taken as a son, yes. Loved more, yes. But more skilled? I doubt it. Not having exactly the same training will work in my favor next time.

99 Stuffed his helmet back on and walked over to Boom to make sure he was ok.

Boom stood as his head lifted itself back into place from his back like it had at the Imperial Prison reactor. It was a trick! Boom knew the ion blast wouldn't kill the man, but it surely did the trick to save the Major. In any case, his target couldn't have gotten too far.

    --Scanner Offline--

The burst must have been too close. Boom wouldn't be fully effective until the effects had worn off. And on top of that, the ion burst was always a large drain on his reserves. A small price to pay. He looked at 99 and though he couldn't do a diagnosis scan, visually he could tell that his wounds weren't anything to panic about. Boom walked with 99 over to the edge of the roof where the Bounty Hunter had fallen, and peered over, looking for any sign.

There was no body. There was no detatched pieces of armor or equipment. Boba Fett was gone. 99 shook his head and dropped down to the ground again with aid of his jetpack. He thought for a moment and smiled behind his helmet. He sent a last minute requisition to base through a tight beam transmission. To his luck and joy, the item he requested was already on a shipment heading out of system and 10 hours later, a sample of it was dropped off at his front door. It was a large black case with a handle on the top. The case itself was thick, as far as carrying cases went. The handle was rectangular but at the bottom, where it met the casing it joined into one short piece that ran into the body of something below.

From now on he would carry that case with him wherever he went. But wouldnt reveal its contents to anyone. He wasnt ready to pull out just yet. Boba Fett certainly wasnt the only other clone on Nar Shadaa. He had to find the others before Fett did. Besides that. 99 hadn't gotten his shebs kicked since he was trained. It was good to know he was still mortal. Boba would be the one to learn the lesson next time. 99 guaranteed it.

Alpha-99 needed to think of how to draw the other clones out into the open. If they were ARC's he would need some goading, normal troopers that had survived the war were unlikely but not out of the question. But how to draw out a commando that was trained for dissapearing in a crowd and deadly in hand to hand and special ops tactics.

"We saw that fight with Fett.. You got your shebs kicked Major."

The case was on the ground and both of 99 pistols were drawn and cocked in the direction of the voice. A man wearing standard issue ARC trooper armor with Green stripes stepped forward out of the shadows. Behind him 3 more troopers wearing Kama's simliar to the ones that 99 and this sargeant wore.

ARC privates... havn't seen that in a long time.

"How do you know my rank... and how did you find us?" He nodded to boom to cover their backs.

The sargeant stepped forward and removed his helmet. Offering a crisp salute. 99 didn't return it and he smirked.

"We were watching you when you came on planet. Advertising a new bounty hunter in town. You and your droid made a large entrance. It's a no wonder that Fett found you before we did. We were going to warn you but we aren't going up against him. He has been tasked to hunt us down. According to the Empire we are now fugitives. We were trying to join with the alliance for some shelter from people like him. As well as accumulating our skills. We just didn't know how to get in touch with them."

99's hammer cocked forward one notch on both pistols.

After all the trouble we went to finding them, they show up without me knowing and infiltrate my building. This guy is good.

99 holstered his pistols with a flourish and closed the gap between himself and the sergeant.

    "You got a name Sargeant?"

"Sargeant Ca sir. Behind me from right to left; ARC Privates Mirshe, Prudii, and Traycn."

Each raised a hand in mock salute as their names were called. The one named Tracyn held a thumbs up which was on fire. He quickly patted it out. Obviously playing with some fire producing device.

    How interesting.

99 Nodded, satisfied. "I'll take you to our base and have you talk with the Colonel, But for all intents and purposes.... Welcome to the Alliance Ner'vod."

He motioned for Boom to come over.

"Lieutenant, start packing up all the gear that we wasted time setting up, Have the privates help. Keep an eye on them, the Sargeant and I are going to get a hover truck to transport it quickly to the ship..... And keep an eye out for Fett...."

He clapped the Droid on the shoulder and told the new clones their roles.

"Sargeant you are coming with me to .... pick up some heavy transportation."

99 and Sargeant Ca strode to the door. 99 noticed the kit he was packing. Single DC-17 blaster pistol strapped to his right thigh and a WESTAR-

Boom and the ARCs made short work of what had been set up. With the ARCs to stand guard, Boom entered a slightly powered down state as his internal systems worked to repair the damage done from the large ion burst. He would remain this way until something caused him to abort it or until 99 had returned from his small mission.

During this state, he calculated Fett's attack and compared it to various combat algorithms in an attempt to find a weakness in his style should they meet again. 5 seconds had gone by without his CPU cracking it. In Boom's world, that usually meant there wasn't one to be found.

The Major and the Sargeant walked side by side, measuring each others strides and matching pace and step. Had 99 been in his ARC armor they would have looked exactly alike, save the blue stripe on 99's as compared to the green of Ca's.

They had a short walk to a speeder rental service area and 99 used his mission credits to rent out a hover truck. He felt completely stupid for having had somethign that easy and overdoing it that quickly. All the gear he had purchased and brought with himself and boom ended up meaning nothing in the end because his objective had instead come to him.

    Smooth Alpha.

They drove the truck back and had the privates load up the gear while boom was in self repair, the two men still stood side by side, as if one would be at a loss if the other moved out of arms reach.

"That what I think it is Major?" Ca indicated the black case.

"If your an ARC I would assume it is what your thinking it is. You any good with it?"

"When it is calibrated the right way.... iv'e been known to be pretty decent."

    "You saw it right?"

"What kind of ARC would I be if I didnt pay attention to my HUD Major?"

"Touche. Alright then. I will make sure that it is calibrated correctly.....Oya Ca...."

They had both saw a slight glint behind them on their HUD. Meaning that a sniper had a scope on them. Fett wasn't as good as he thought he was after all.

99's hand that carried the case snapped to the side, palm side facing behind him. The handle turned with him and the case dropped away. Revealing the experimental ARC weapon, the Z-6 rotary blaster cannon. A hand held vulcan gun that could put 166 blaster bolts down range per second. It was one of the weapons that made 99 glad to be an ARC. The recoil could be tricky and ammo consumption was always a problem but for Alpha-99, this weapon was his bread and butter.

"You distract him while I hose him down."

    "Oya!"

They both spun at the same time. Sargeant Ca pulling his M5 up and putting bolts down in the direction that the glint had come from. A piece of permacrete exploded between them as the startled Fett accidentally pulled the trigger prematurely. 99 activated his jet pack and soared into the air, letting the rotary cannon spin before unleashing a terrible rain of death. The recoil was pushing him back in the air and his smile was wide because of it. It pushed him back to the roof where he had first met Fett in combat. This time was different though. He had Boba on the run. He had to use his jetpack to get away from death only just. But when he was in the air, the jetpack was struck by one of Ca's shots. Dropping Fett back to the ground inbetween two buildings that he had posted up on. As the next torrent of cannon fire came at him, he rolled over the side and fell between the buildings, out of sight. Moments later there was a huge explosion that rocked the ground around them even at that distance.

And 99 was out of ammo.

He jetpacked back to the ground and nodded to Ca.

"Your going to fit in just fine in our unit Sargeant."

99 held out his fist to the sargeant and he clapped his own against it.

    "U'desii ner'vod"

99 smiled. Back among his own kind now. The entire engagement hadn't taken more than a minute. He lugged his weapon back in the front of the truck and stuck two fingers in the air and twirled them around his head, indicating it was time to move out.

The Privates moved without words. Ca piled into the co-pilot seat and 99 got a hand up from one of the other ARCs, he thought was Traycn because of the scorch marks on his gauntlets, and settled into the back with the equipment and his new men. He would ask the colonel to place these men under his comman specifically. That way he could keep an eye on his new brothers as well as get things done the ARC way.

"Luietenant Boom. Take us back to the ship please. We need to get back to base."

    99 chuckled to himself.

Wonder what the new second lieutenant is going to say about working with this many clones.....[/i

"So how did you get your names soldiers?"

It was dark in the back of the truck but 99 could clearly see the outlines of a few visors staring back at him. Boom was piloting the truck back to hte ship so they could load up and go home. Before Fett realized the numbers he was up against and planned accordingly. Because Jango had taught 99 that trick too....Make the enemy think your dead when you need a strategic retreat. It was easy to throw a thermal detonator in the general direction you were moving and dissapear just before it went off. One thing was for certain to 99 though. He wasnt little Bob'ika anymore.

"You, whats your story?" He pointed to the one named Mirshe.

"Sir, I am good with things."

99 knew it was evident from behind his mando helmet that he was staring. Even Tracyn turned to slowly look at him sideways.

    "Detail?"

"Of course sir... I got my namesake becuase I can do just about anything when I put my mind to it. Make a bomb, escape traps, field strip any weapon I come into contact with, with no prior knowledge of it and put it back together blindfolded. Because I am good with things. I am sure you know that my name in Mando'a means Brains. My... esteemed brothers here seem to enjoy goading me on being able to decipher anything that comes my way, given the right about of time and environment."

"Ah I see. Ok I can buy that, what about you... Prudii."

"Shadow sir. Enough said. I can get into places other people cant. Sometimes Sarge tells me I am better than he is at infiltration."

"Remind me to introduce you to your new colleuge back at base named Darkan."

    "Very good sir."

    "And you? Tracyn?"

    "I like fire sir."

    "Thats it?"

    "Uhhhhh.... Yes.. yes thats it."

"Very well. I wont forget them now. How long has your band been together?"

All three of them looked at the others and Tracyn nodded to Prudii, who responded with no small amount of pride in his voice.

    "Since the vats sir."

"Your vat brothers? You survived the end of the war and made it all the way across the galaxy here, as one unit? No losses?"

Mirshe spoke up now. "Thats right sir. We were trained by the best and so we became the best. But then Boba popped up again and his skills surpass ours since he was trained by Jango. Apparently because of some incident in a prison facility a few days ago, ARC troopers have been hunted down one by one and exterminated, what better cliche is there than to send a clone to kill clones?"

Alpha-99 felt his stomach go cold.

I thought we disabled all of the cameras in that building.....

"That may or may not have been a coincidence... And if it isnt then the hunting part was my fault."

They all nodded nonchalantly. "We know. S'ok sir, we have no love for the empire after what they did to the Jedi anyway. If we hadnt been cast aside like we had because of what you did then we would have been shot on sight anyway because unlike some of our brethren we helped out Jedi General escape."

    "Who were you assigned to?"

    "Privillaged information sir."

He nodded in understanding. It was one thing that they could actually call their own in a galaxy where they meant nothing to the people they had sworn an oath to and been bred to protect.

"What about you Major? How did you get your name?"

"Long story short..." He pulled off the bracer on his left arm and held it out. Prudii activated a glow lamp and examined the tattoo he had there.

    "Very nice."

    "Why slug throwers sir?"

99 was silent for a moment as he put his bracer back on and leaned his head back against the side of the truck.

    ".....You can't deflect lead....."

They were all silent for the rest of the ride to the ship. After which they dismounted and started unloading the supplies. They could use the stuff back at base for something, or sell it on the black market for mission eseential cr

Boom had spent the entire flight home in low power repairing his circuits. It was probably much longer than he needed to, but it had also been quite a while since he had performed his routine and extensive system checks. He had found no anomalies in his programming outside the damage the ion burst had caused.

He made his usually trip to the armory and though he didn't use many munition on the last mission, he still savaged through the supplies there, new and old, looking for better ways to outfit himself based on what he had learned on the previous mission.

"Alright sargeant. This is to see what kind of skill level your squad is on. Your objective is to infiltrate the star destroyer, and capture its captain by any means neccisarry. Lethal force is authorized on all non-mission pertaining personell. Secondary objective is to slice and steal important data chip containing information that is critical to a new weapon system that the empire has developed. Third and also optional objective is to scuttle the ship with your prisoner and return with said person safely. Any questions?"

"Will there be a time limit Sir?"

"No, this is a sublte mission Sareant. If you are discovered to soon then the entire ship's personel of droids and stormtroopers will be on top of you. Not even ARCs are invincible to that kind of outnumbering factor."

"Understood sir I will Comm when we are ready."

99 retreated with his black helmet under his arm to the control room. He sat down in the chair in front of the large control board and started punching buttons. The room that had been void of anything but the 5 men now filled with walls, simulating the hangar of a star destroyer.

    "Ready Sir."
    "Simulation starting."

99 watched as Tracyn and Mirshe sprinted away from the Ca and Prudii. The Sargeant and his soldier ran the opposite direction to the door leading to the main decks. Mirshe pulled a small plasma torch from his belt pack and began cutting a large vent away while Traycn covered with his M5 in a kneeling position. When he was done Mirshe peeled back the grating and Traycn hopped back into it. Dropping 2 meters down and came down in a roll, weapon leveled.

The cameras split on 99's displays as the members took seperate routes.

Ca and Prudii seperated immediatly out of the main door and took seperate routes down the hallway. Again the camera split. Prudii ejected a short vibroblade from his gauntlet and stabbed at the corners of yet another vent. He pulled himself up and into it. Moving slowly but steadily down the vent as quietly as a person could wearing plastoid armor. He slid on his back, using the Kama as a sound dampener.

    Thats pretty smart..

Ca was at the door to the bridge already. But it was locked. 99 had made it seem like the simluation people had known they were coming.

When he looked over at his other monitor he nearly started. Mirshe and Traycn were already at the computers, slicing the terminal. Mirshe at the helm and his fingers flying over the holo screen. It was time to see what he was really made of. Alpha hit a few buttons and changed the galactic language on the terminal that he had been slicing. It completely changed computer display style and dialect.

99 saw Mirshes head move down in a silent swear and Traycn glanced over his shoulder to see what the problem was. The alarm went off. But Mirshe stayed concentrating. In a moment he started to push more buttons, slower than last time but definatly making headway.

Ca's helmet was moving up and down as if he were counting. Then he placed a device on the door panel and it shot open as Prudii dropped from a vent over the bridge. The holo-people started bolting around for weapons and both Prudii and Ca started hosing down anyone in armor. There was a man standing at the helm with a captains uniform and a slightly tilted rank on his chest. Only a micron off place. Ca looked around and nodded at a female hologram and Prudii kicked out at the "captains" knee, breaking it and dropping him to the deck in a silent scream. Ca checked the bridge controls as Prudii moved to the female and grabbed her by the arm. Pushing her forward. Even though it was a hologram and his fingers should pass right through the arm, he acted as if it was solid and the image followed. Prudii escorted her out of the bridge and Ca remained, he held down the trigger of his M5 and took down all of the personel on the bridge.

    Not leaving any witnesses. Smart.

The guage on Ca's rifle read zero and he slung it back on his back, pulling his pistol free and stridin

Alixe slammed a hand on Gaph's shoulder.
"All the more reason for us to move, now," she said. "Besides, I would bet there are women and children among the captives as well." The commando cocked her rifle, ready to move. Now. "Every blow we strike against slavery is a blow against the Empire."

OOC: Ok I am using emergency CO-GM powers here so we can keep this game from dying. John has been subdued with work and such so I will keep this going until he can get back in. But the fact that Boom and 99 completed their mission and got back before the shuttle for Dacens rescue even was mounted means we have a problem. Basically there are 5 clones and a war droid walking around the base while the rest of the squad is talking on a prepped shuttle. so... lets get this party wagon moving shall we?

    IC:Major Alpha-99

After the exercise with the new ARCs, 99 went to his room. He was stopped midway there in the hallway by a young corpral who was pale in the face and out of breath.

"Sir! The team that is being sent to rescue Dacen is in danger. Its a trap! New Intelligence confirms Dacen's body Sir. They are tying to catch the strike team that went through with the initial assault. We cant let them take off Sir!"

    "Good job corpral."

99 sprinted down the hallway to the nearest wall commlink. He activated the loudspeaker and tried not to shout.

"This is Major Alpha-99 to all base personel. Do NOT let that shuttle launch. I repeat do NOT let the shuttle launch. Get everyone back off of the vessel and into the breifing room ASAP."

The Major commed his new clone squad to meet them in the breifing, as well as boom. He needed to introduce the new members to the rest of the squad.

Another subordinate walked a bit more calmly up to 99 this time with a data pad in his hand.

"Sir, Colonel Spartan has been called to alliance command for an urgent meeting. He will be leaving on the shuttle that was previously destined for the rescue operation."

99 looked at the datapad and nodded before walking to the breifing room.

    "ABORT TAKE OFF...REPEAT ABORT TAKEOFF"

Gaph sighed, and jumped from his seat, running off the craft.

"What the Hell is going on!!" He yelled out as he entered the Hangar. 99's ship had just landed as they were preparing to leave. "Tell me to mount a bloody mission then leave." He mumbled to himself, making his way to the briefing room.

He rushed through the door before it even finished opening, noting Alpha and his new Comandos. Maybe they were his replacement.

"I've got a Rendezvous to be at and I don't have time to dilly-dally around here. What's going on Alpha...Where's John?"

Before the man had a chance to answer, Gaph heard the transport taking off. John Spartan on board.

    Breifing Room

Gaph came through the door asking questions and looking irked.

99 spoke in a mildly irritated tone.

    "Sorry for the inconvenience Leuitenant....."

He heard one of the snicker of one of the privates standing in a corner of the room over his comm followed by a click that was plastoid on plastoid. One of his brothers elbowed him.

"The rescue mission was FUBAR Gaph. First class trap. To our knowledge right now Dacen died on our first mission. His body has been confirmed by alliance intellegence. You were going to be flying into a world of hurt. As for Colonel Spartan, he has been called to alliance command on urgent business, priority alpha. The men in the corner are your new squad mates but they answer directly to me. I will introduce them when the others arrive."

99 removed his black ARC helmet and placed it on the table in front of him. All of the other ARCs did the same. Placing their white helmets next to his in a neat precise line. He crossed his arms across his chest and leaned back in his chair, waiting for the rest of Unit 117 to show.

"Traps come with the territory," Alixe growled as she entered. Intellectually she knew why they had to abort, but that didn't mean she had to like it. As much as she wanted to take her frustrations out on someone Alixe knew there was scant little else that could be done, the impotence making her even angrier as she tried to distract herself by checking on her accursed cybernetic leg. "Hope we have a backup plan."

99 glanced up at his new second lieutenant. So this was the one that didnt like clones. He was watching carefully for her reaction to 5 of the elite clone troopers in the same room.

"Backup plan for what Lieutenant? The mission has been scrapped. You were called here to be introduced to your new squadmates. Once Boom arrives I will do just that. So everyone get comfortable."

99 motioned to chairs around the table and the 4 ARCs sat as close to him as the long table would allow.

Boom was still in the armory when he heard the announcement. He had just grabbed a hand full of weapons, explosives, and other munitions to reverse engineer into fitting supplies for himself, but hearing the priority of the announcement, he did not waste the time putting it down.

He walked into the conference room, his arms hugging a surplus of weaponry which he set down on the table and then proceeded to snap to attention to await the breifing.
