Universal Studios Meet, Tuesday 10th

Anybody want to do Typhoon Lagoon (water park)? I really, really want to do that at least. I might do Universal Studios as well.

 

My sister and I arrive Wed. morning so we'll be hitting Islands of Adventure after we finish the VIP and Hyperspace registration.

 

I wish this was on Wednesday. Then more people (myself included) could make it, but since I don't get in until 3 on Tuesday, there's no way I could make it over there in time. Is anyone going on Wednesday?

My initial plan was to go to Universal on both Tuesday and Wednesday anyway.
Simply take my time on both days.
Crowds don't bother me. If I can wait in-line 10hrs. to see the Pope, wait 6hrs. for tickets to The Jackson Tour and wait ungodly hours just to get tickets to Wrestle Mania 2007 in Detroit, I think I can wait in-line to ride "Abusement Park" rides.

I'm planning on going to Universal Studios and a water park wednesday/thursday.

 

Hubby and I wont be coming in until Weds We're leaving early in the morning though, so we were planning on hitting Islands of Adventure that day. Ar eyou guys plannign anything then?

 

I plan on going to IOA on Wednesday. I can't make it Tuesday.

Yeah, I'm pumped for this.

I think we will have a few JCers who are driving there, but we need to know how many people are coming to be sure everyone can get a ride. Maybe we should put together a definitive list of who's going with the group on the 10th.

 

Can we start a list for people going on Wednesday also?

I think there are a few more for the JCC contingent but its a start.

 

I'll be there on Tuesday.

 

As an addendum to PK's post, we're all staying in the same villa, so it should be easy for at least our part of the group to coordinate. We'll just have to figure out how to coordinate with the rest of you.

I would like to show up for this.... how long will everyone be there, though? Since I'm flying in on Tuesday I'd be showing up in the afternoon if I did.

I fly in Tuesday too, but the way I see it there's no sense paying the admission to only be there half a day. That's why I keep trying to find people to go on Wednesday.

 

I'm thinking for Wednesday, I'd be more likely to be using it for Disneyworld. Which I'll be going to a few days. It's the large group going making Universal look tempting to sneak in there.

 

Islands of Adventure is open until 10 PM, so if you're arriving early in the afternoon, you could still spend a decent chunk of the day there.

 

I don't land in Orlando until 5:05 and then with the time it'll take to get my bags, get over to the hotel, check in, drop bags off in the room, and then get a cab over to IOA & buy a ticket, there's no time.

 

I still really want to go, but I don't know if I financially should go. I just found out that my employee discount through SeaWorld is only good for the Hollywood location.

I'm thinking we could do a tuesday or wednesday day, for those that want to go on tuesday can go then or wednesday maybe we could just make a meetup list for each day, I actually plan on going both days, one day for IOA and the other for US.
