Star Wars reality: What Force Ghosts do all day

 

It would be as entertaining as watching big brother after hours.

There's so many good (and LOL) ideas for spin-offs. Now that Disney owns this some others could happen.

• Lando movie to finally see his maneuver at the battle of Taanab.

• A Qui-Gonn movie with his master Dooku that culminates on Qui-Gonn taking a very young Obi-wan as his padawan. This movie could also feature Syfo-Dyas.

• The obvious movie that will be a mirror of RO, but will be bothans stealing the information for the DS2 and learning that the Emperor will be on the DS to oversee the final tests. This movie could've been better than the RO just because Palps actually let them learn all of this to set his trap, which was quite impressive. Too bad he didn't foresee Vader turning on him at the last second or teddy bears being able to overpower an entire legion of his best troops.

• There could also be a ton of material for movies post ROTJ and pre-TFA but I think those would have to wait until the ST is done and by then you would need other actors to play younger versions of Ben Solo, Luke, Leia, Han. Unless if focuses exclusively on the FO and the KOR.

• For a while I wanted to see a movie in-between ANH and ESB but following Han and Chewie, but with Harrison Ford. Now I hope the Han movie is pre- ANH. And focuses on Han "winning" the Falcon from Lando, his fabled Kessel run, and him out-running some "big" imperial cruisers while smuggling stuff for Jabba. Perhaps, but hopefully not, Bobba Fett also in the movie but working with Han/Chewie and also we learn why Bobba may have had a special grudge against Han and not just him being a bounty hunter.

Serious answers, because I see these ideas get seriously levied around sometimes:

• Anything to do with young Dooku training young Qui-Gon
• Anything to do with young Qui-Gon training young Obi-Wan
• A post-TPM/pre-AotC movie with Obi-Wan training Anakin
• A Clone Wars movie with Anakin and Obi-Wan
• A General Grievous movie
• A Darth Maul movie
• A Darth Plagueis movie and/or a movie with young Palpatine
• I really don't think an Ahsoka movie is particularly likely
• I would hope a post-RotJ/pre-TFA movie with recasted or digitally de-aged/recreated versions of Luke, Han, and Leia would be off the table

The people joking with a Jar Jar people actually got me thinking about a gungan spin-off that could work.

The Galactic Battlegrounds game shows us that gungans actually have a very rich (now non-canon) history, and the first half of the gungan campaign revolves around Boss Gallo and the war between the different gungan tribes. Even though this will probably never happen, I think Disney could pull of a great movie based on this, and the movie could be quite spectacular with the underwater cities and stuff.

If Disney is concerned about the box office potential, they should not. Because only Jimmy Smits with certain cameos by Mon Mothma and other more obscure senators is the only budget for actors and a CGI senate chamber. Better yet, release it on Netflix. Doesn't have to be in cinemas.
