I.E., CA Unofficial Movie Night: 300 in IMAX Goodness!

Never! lol Then I'll be the first one to say it. BAHAHA!

 

if you buy any dvd at best buy, you'll get a special 30 minute behind the scenes of 300 dvd free. the best part is you'll get a free movie ticket to the show as well. it can't be used until the movie comes out.

that being said, anyone who want's to see it again...well here's your chance. just thought you'd want to know.

oh yeah...the giant in this movie is real, not CGI. he's 7'1".

I might be able to get there a little early... but HSF has my ticket so I will only be able to line up outside the theatre which may defeat the purpose of going early.

EDIT: What time would be best for showing up?

 

We'll prob want to aim to be in line by no later than 7pm, that's 40 mins before it starts.

Maybe we we all get there for 6:30, gives us time to get some goodies then get in line? What say thee?

I have to pick up my ticket at the machine but had to cancel my debit card yesterday as apparently someone has a card with the same number!!!! Long story, still trying to sort out what happened! So i gotta call fandango and see if they can sort something out for me to get my ticket as the card I bought it with is now cancelled.

 

I asked the ticket girl what time to line up and she said at least 30 minutes before. so 7pm would be a good time to meet up if we're not going to meet before that.

how many are going? i've got DH ticket, so I know he'll be there. i've got:

that makes five from the group. am I missing anyone? also anyone up for meeting early for food / games at dave & busters? if so, whose going and when. we we planning on gettin there around five-ish to be on the safe side with time and all. any thoughts?

that movie was awesome...a lot better then i expected...i was just there for the cineatography...but the story was great...it was nice seeing everyone...

 

staurt, steve, mark...all good to see you there tonight. for everyone else who couldn't make it, you missed a really awesome movie indeed. as mark said, great story and the filming was a cinamatic treat. make sure you see this one on the big screen before it goes on DVD to get the big experience.

Yes, amazing movie. Even better than I thought, and I had pretty high expectations. Makes me want to ready the graphic novel since they used it as a storyboard.
