Didn't you buy the goofy Rebel and Revenge bands, too? Hehe. Those were cheap, though. Only $2 each.. Hence why I was able to afford them. Hahahahaha.

    The take:

    Revenge and Rebel wristbands
    Leia keychain
Jedi Academy glass mug, window sticker, and magnet
    Star Tours commemorative pin

    Then at Downtown Disney:

An Anakin keychain from the LEGO store
A ROTS mug from the overpriced movie/music memorabilia store
Some beignets from the New Orleans style restaurant

Hey folks, wanted you to know we had a great time, didn?t get to meet too many of you in person, we were running from place to place or dead on our feet most of the time. But I did get to take your picture (I was wearing the black Imperial hat and the white T shirt). Maybe next time, I?ll actually say hello, heh.

I did want to thank Crazybirdman for meeting with us Friday night for the shirts, and for arranging this. You rock dude.

Also wanted to add that I don?t know if we were the furthest away people (Santa Cruz , California), but the park may want to take notice of what they could make off of us with a DL Star Wars days from what we spent there last weekend:

*Two full and two half days of dining in the park and in Downtown Disney
    *Sith Mouse pad
    *Five ?Mickey? antenna balls
*Seven 50th Anniversary pins (pins of various rides)
*Four engraved name tags (two our names, two character names)
    *One set of gold ears
    *One 50th T shirt
*Three packs of various candies plus two boxes of chocolate shortbread for the pet sitter back home
    *HTH Bath Wrap
    *50th Anniversary music mix
    *Lunch at Blue Bayou

    There?s more, I just don?t remember.

When we went to WDW for Star Wars Weekends in 2001, we got a ton of stuff there, from shirts (three), pins (12), posters (2), cantina glassware (two pilsner, two shot), figures, and more.

Basically, if they host it, they will come and they will SPEND. Everyone wins. So hopefully, they will see the potential, greed will take hold, and maybe we won?t have to do this Unofficial next time.

So, thanks again, we?ll see you next year or maybe at another event somewhere inbetween.

    Hang loose,

    DLS

It was fun seeing fellow Star Wars attendees at Mickey's Mouse House, although it was sooo busy I never made in onto Star Tours. I did get a lot of attention from regular park patrons from wearing our exclusive Unofficial SW Day T-shirts. I could've sold a bunch right there!

Besides the cool retro Disneyland "flags" t-shirt, I picked up a Pin USA framed and numbered collection of "Cartoon Style" Star Wars pins. This will go nicely with my 25th Anniversary, Episode II, and Clone Wars sets.

    Can't wait 'til next year!

I sent the link to some family and friends as well so I stole a couple pix from a couple of you and included them. Probably should have asked...but I figured it would be OK. [face_whistling]

More people turnaround and much crappier weather. Heat and humidity do not mix. There is a hurricane in the area which means it's really humid...that's an easy way to get sick. I know it kills me if I'm not careful and it's nothing like Florida here.

We'll be at con on Sunday. Although we may go next weekend if I don't curb this itch [face_mischief] Those annual passes call to me daily...
