When is the next Star Wars day at Disneyland?

 

I believe it is June 25th? I think that is what Britt said. It is that weekend anyway.

 

It's June 24th 2006 actually. Website will be online as of January 1st with all the info!

The time has come to get things moving for the Second Annual event! I just put up the website a little bit earlier than I originally planned, but we're starting the New Year off with the first bits of info on the event!

Street clothes, yes. Disneyland has a no costume policy (unless you're a kid... stupid D-land) for non-cast members, since they don't want anyone taking the attention away from those who work at the park in costume.

We'll be there again this year! BTW, I had so many other park visitors notice, compliment and ask about my SW Day T-shirt that we could have sold more. Any possibility of offering shirts as a club fundraiser?

 

Pretty sure the answer is "no." Britt sells the T-shirts and the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

 

ok so the star wars day will have workers at disneyland in star wars costumes .. right?

 

While Disneyland has a C-3PO, Chewbacca, and I forget the third one costume, they don't ever use them. Unfortunatly, there will be no costumes at all. But, that's another reason we hold this event! Maybe as time goes on they'll say 'Heeeey, good time to bring out those costumes that have been collecting dust'. You never know!

And as far as shirts go, yeah, they were only for the event and the proceeds went to the American Cancer Society. I'm still waiting on LucasFilm approval, hopefully after the holidays it'll all happen and we can get the shirts online. I was foruntate enough along with one other person to actually get a copy of the finished shirts for the 2006 event, and they came out pretty great. I've been wearing the shirt to Disneyland, but so far not many people have noticed unless I'm on star tours or in a cramped area.

And great responce so far! Don't forget the fan force lunch at Pizza port at 12pm! Looking forward to hanging out with you all again.

Oh... and can someone edit the first post in this thread so the title has the new date of June 24? Or should I just start a new topic?

 

I'd just start a new thread; easier to seperate the two days.
