I just bought my 1-Day Park Hopper tickets online. If you are planning on buying online, make sure that you select the Southern California Resident discount. The price will be $68/ticket versus $73/ticket. Not much, but everything counts!

 

We have the deluxe pass, which we upgraded a few times.
We'd have to skip it $30 per person = alot of good food!
Plus Saturdays are really busy with tourists. Even Fridays!

 

Just don't forget about the group picture in front of the castle at 3pm. That's an important part of the event.

 

Too expensive, unfortunately. So, I will have to pass on this event.

California Adventure (CA) currently has a really exciting, highly entertaining Block Party Parade with the Pixar Characters, in addition to the always-fun Aladdin show and nostalgic Electrical Parade.

Also, there's a delicious, little-known place to eat: Exit CA next to the Grizzly River Run into the Grand Californian Hotel. Take a left to eat at White Water Snacks. They've got a large menu of hot food, cooked to order and many prepared items. Not many people know about this hideaway. Just show your ticket and hand stamp to re-enter the park. Feel free to tour the hotel or visit Downtown Disney. Enjoy!

I'm trying to convince Jon that we need to get passes this year. We've got a couple trips planned so we're on our way to the something like 5 trips we'd need to make to make up the money.

If we went into California Adventure we'd have to take the kids to see the Playhouse Disney show. If Gavin didn't get to meet JoJo and Goliath he'd kill us!

 

I guess I will wait till this event to renew the kids and my passes to Disneyland. We got a lot of use out of them before as we were going up there once a month.

 

This is a good year to get a pass, with ll the cool 50th stuff going on, and the re-opening of Space Mountain.

Awww yeah, I'm getting hyped for the trip!

 

I just pray we don't do what my band would do. On the bus to D-land, someone would hand out small sheets with the lyrics to "Pirates Life for Me" to everyone, then the entire band would pile onto the ride and sing the song as loud and annoyingly as possible.

 

Oh, I would like the lyrics to that. The only part I know is Yo Ho.. Yo Ho.. a Pirates life for me.. and I just keep singing that part over and over, and I know that is probably more annoying.

I don't know if those are the right words..upon looking people seem to say that there are different versions. There is a ton of stuff if you Google search...

 

There are. All I know is that you hit "and really bad eggs" on the 2nd drop during the ride.
