Saga Unpopular Star Wars opinions!

Qui-Gon Jinn while one of my most favorite characters of the PT was not necessary.

 

I dont think that's an unpopular opinion (at least on this site).

 

Yeah that movie has a lot of supporters here.

 

I've seen it so many times I find the opening crawl boring.

 

I might've said this already but I do not care too much for Qui Gon Jinn.....

I think Darth Sidious is one of the greatest cinematic villains of all time
The fact the saga was labelled "the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker" doesn't Neglects luke's importance but rather enhances it.
Oh and get ready for it... I love Jedi Rocks. Now if you excuse me...

Also I think Darth Sidious is a MUCH better villain than Darth Vader.

 

I don't like the asteroid field sequence in ESB. I usually can suspend disbelief with the fantasy science in the films, but I just find those scenes painful to watch. Especially the space slug... ugh! Same with the chase scene in the rings of Geonosis in AotC.

 

Palpatine needs to be made more sympathetic.

 

I can imagine the movie posters for a SW prequel remake...don't believe the jedi propoganda, this is what really happened.

And yes, REMAKE THE PREQUELS. The current prequels are like a bad dream...

 

RotJ is the best OT film, SIdious is a better villain than Vader, I don't like Anakin at all except at the end of RotJ, I don't like Padme at all, the midis are unneeded, Samuel L Jackson doesn't suit SW, Liam Neeson while cool casting had a pretty poor part (yet that isn't solely his fault) and Tarkin and Dooku are the coolest cats in the OT films.

Dooku isn't totally evil. His conversation with Obi-Wan on Geonosis shows that.

Basically spilling the beans about your master's plans? Maybe he was trying to get Obi-Wan to join the Separatists, but I don't think so.

Agreed. Maul is overhyped. Sure an alien Sith is great and the lightstaff is cool but he's not practical and over all pretty thin as a character.

 

The PT ruined both Vader and The Emperor's characters.
Luke is the most underrated character in the entire saga.
Yub Nub, Lapti Nek, and Jedi Rocks are all on the same pedestal of suckiness.

 

Luke is one of the most underrated characters and one of the most mishandled along with his entire core family and the Solo children particularly as adults.

 

That Jake Lloyd's acting was bad. That really never crossed my mind. IMO, he was probably better than Sam Jackson or Mark Hamill

 

I thought he brilliantly played a boy. I liked every scene he is in.

 

General Grievous' backstory in Labyrinth of Evil is better political commentary than the entire prequel trilogy.

 

I'd love a Grievous spinoff.
