The Rule of Two is awesome.
Unless you're the Master.
From your point of view. Say that rule wasn't there... The Sith would have been that much more powerful!
I have no problem with the prequels actually I just don't care for some plot holes involving both trilogies and the changes made to the originals I mean they live in a futuristic alien universe George is it so hard to believe that Vader's burns were gone due to the advanced science of his era?
I agree some what I watched some of SW:ANH and I feel like some of the actors were just reading off lines from the script though that's probably due to a generation gap. I felt more emotion coming from the cast in the prequels. Mind you I was fighting sleep and will have to re watch it to make sure.
Including Jake Lloyd?
You know it!
I don't think the double-bladed lightsaber is all that amazing or creative.
It would be awkward to use.
Probably, but just from an entertainment perspective, it just doesn't do all that much for me.
What if it was a quadruple blade?
Nope. More blades on one hilt doesn't equal more enjoyable for me.
Now the spinning Grievous did with his blades...THAT was cool
Windmilling has never, I repeat NEVER been cool.
He wasn't windmilling, he was fanning
The acting from most of the leads in both trilogies is pretty poor. Basically only the elders and Ian shine for me. I like the Empire in general (no, that does NOT mean I condone evil actions).
Certainly not "OMG, HOW GREAT!" by any means, but the acting in ANH & ESB is rather good. ROTJ on the other hand...
Billy Dee is the only redeeming factor of ROTJ, and that one scene where a star destroyer crashes into the Executor.
I kinda resent the fact that the PT & OT were not given enough time to gel & become one unit. And hope in the future Episodes 1-6 are never released with any other films. Dont really like that Disney is trying to cash in on THAT story instead of making their own story using the template that is already in place.
That scene was awesome. You could feel the emotion from those guys.
I want Ian McDiarmid to come back to SW.
I second that.
Is this actually an unpopular opinion? There's a pretty widespread consensus against having a resurrected Palpatine in the ST, or so I get the impression. But that's not the same thing.
I don't think anyone really knows what is popular or not. All of this is perception.
Resurrected Palpatine is kind of stupid, but it really depends on how good the explanation is.
I think the general perception that the PT is inferior to the OT actually exists was not "created by the media"
The Trade Federation is more interesting than the Jedi.
