Shhh... only irl
Darth Vader is not as bombad as he Is depicted. Vader may have a great Shogun/Samurai outfit and the intimidation factor, but he is not the greatest Sith.
A New Hope stands as the slowest and most boring of all six movies, I love the movie despite this.
Chewbacca's only use throughout the saga was as a role, the unwaveringly loyal dog, as a character within the movies he adds nothing.
The Prequel Era offers much more than the Original Era does, while the Original Trilogy offers much more than the Prequel Trilogy.
For me TPM is is the slowest and most boring of the Saga. It adds next to nothing of merit, either.
Well the final 20-30 was good though right?
I enjoyed Maul's lightstaff that is about it.
Jar Jar Binks is a great character.
I'd agree with that statement on The Phantom Menace. I would have preferred the three movies being fully focused on the Clone Wars with The Phantom Menace equivalent covering what went down in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith proceeding along much the same but with key differences tying all three movies together. I've never been able to think about what the second movie could be about, but a more focused arc across the three movies would have worked better regardless of the plot details surrounding the middle act. As they stand, the Prequel movies work better as background movies rather than a trilogy that can stand alone and be a good set of movies, and that's a problem.
the jedi order, the old republic, new planets, new species, new monsters, new architecture, new ships, new jedi, new sith, new lightsabers, young palps, other new characters, etc.
For some, perhaps.
you sound so dour! ha ha! i imagine you speaking like cushing.
Thank you but he wasn't dour.
Let's just get this out of the way, Jar Jar is the GOAT of Star Wars characters!
The Emperor's Voice is better in ROTJ than in ROTS.
The more involved George Lucas is, the better the final product is
The Death Star is not necessary to the canon and legends. The Empire does not need the Death Star to be formidable.
Well said, Sir. We actually agree on something!
It was bound to happen.
Oh, I'm sure can agree on more than just no need for Death Stars.
Jedi are not the most interesting "thing" in Star Wars.
Amen to that thirded.
The Clone Wars Era has been covered to excess. The mystery of the times before the Empire has been lost.
@StrikerKOJ, I agree, the Jedi are essentially just a monastic military order like the Knights Templar who dress like Franciscan Monks.
The space slug scene is rubbish in ESB.
I guess my unpopular opinion is my love for Ahsoka Tano. Didn't realize she was as hated as she is on this website lol Someone warned me that that opinion might make me unpopular on here lol
