TV Discussion Unpopular Star Wars TV show opinions

I found myself annoyed with Clone Wars 2008 for half of it's run. I liked the show quite a bit when I wasn't annoyed.

 

I'm willing to give the entire Ghost Crew a chance, considering none of the characters really did it for me throughout the first season. They could certainly do without Chopper. To me, it's just a small, mechanical version of Jar Jar.

 

Morris was a good arc at delving into the force.

 

I like Both approaches to clones. TCW shows clones with likable personalities and a band of brothers feel which I really like. The micro series showed them at times almost cold and calculating which I also really like.

 

BOLD, I like it.

Although Rebels has potential, its no where near as good as TCW.

 

That's an opinion of course. IMO, Rebels is way better at the end of its first season than TCW was at the end of its first. And i like the show better overall, since it doesn't have the shattered narrative problem that TCW had, especially early. By the time it ended, TCW was pretty great, and think Rebels will be too.

 

Another bold opinion here: There is no episode of TCW that I don't like. I think the borderline quality level is astounding.

 

Chopper is a psycho .

 

I'm not that's a controversial opinion. That little dude has a sadistic streak! I love it!

I like Rebels AND CW wannafightaboutit?

 

Rebels didn't really do it for me until Tarkin arrived on the show. Not that I have an extreme love for that character or anything, it's just that those last few episodes with him in it are quite good. TCW had my attention at the very start (the feature film).

 

Ashoka was better in the first 2 seasons.

 

What was so bad about the latter three seasons?

 

She just lost her Spark and Snark but that's just me.

 

Mortis is probably my favourite Clone Wars arc.

 

I don't really care for any of the animated shows but Tarkin was mildly interesting in Rebels.

 

I strongly dislike Sabine and Chopper. I don't like Ezra and Zeb either but not to the same extent. I think I could grow to like those two, but I can't stand Chopper, and Sabine's character is just ridiculous and makes the show feel too "Disney-fied" in my opinion. Colorful explosions! That's fun!

I don't like the majority of the clones, they all seem to have the same personality (With the exception of Rex and Fives)
I don't mind Jar Jar

I absolutely despise Spark and Idiot's Array
I hated the Lando cameo
I want Ezra to die a horrible death along with Zeb (Hopefully at the hands of Chopper)
I hate Kallus as a villain '' BWAHAHAHAHAHA I killed your people, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHA I'm EVIL HIHIHIHI''

 

Okay I forgot about this. I hated it too. Sadly, his episode was the one I was most excited for because of Lando. It seemed so fake to me. It felt like a caricature or parody of Lando, and not what Lando should actually be like. It was too much of an exaggeration of Lando's character. I was unhappy with it, and it was probably one of the worst episodes of the season in my opinion (the balloon pig didn't help.)

 

The 2008 theatrical release of The Clone Wars is great. Even Stinky!

 

Stink is the true Sith Lord.

 

Stinky/Rotta is Darth Plagius reincarnated. It WILL happen in Episode 8.

Ima Gun Dai is the most underrated jedi.

He selflessly sacrificed himself not to win a battle but to give relief to the Ryloth people which makes him pretty cool in my book.

 

Him and Keeli are the best.
