Me either. I think of Lanter as the cheerful Anakin and Hayden as the angsty Anakin. I could agree that we had too much of the latter in the prequels but I'm not big on the idea of dubbing over his voice.
I can't imagine Lanter's voice in any scene that requires any emotion other than "husky", if that is indeed an emotional state.
The only scene that comes to mind where Lanter nailed a more emotional, fearful Anakin was in Mortis when Ahsoka was dead/ dying. "You must help her!"
Sometime after the "old friends" arc, I want Jar-Jar to put on Anakin's Jedi robe again and scare the hell out of Clovis.
Also: Rex is a bland character I don't care about in the slightest Ahsoka is still as ****ing annoying as ever The Nightsisters arc was terrible Citadel arc was good
I'm not sure how unpopular this opinion is (it might have already been said), but.... The show does a much better job of fleshing out PT characters and developing relationships between them than the movies managed to do (Anakin is a more interesting character & has a better chemistry with Padme for example). It essentially tries to fix what the PT did poorly, and so watching it makes the PT more enjoyable.
^Yeah, honestly I hated Hayde--er, PT Anakin (sorry, @anakinfansince1983! ). He seemed like a selfish, disrespectful creepster to Padme (granted she was a total idiot and bought it), and I couldn't see anything noble from Luke or Leia in him. He was a total jerk. TCW-Anakin actually acts like a real person... which seems counter-intuitive.
"Mercy Mission" is a great episode. If "Secret Weapons" would have captured a smidge of its charm the Droid Arc might have been slightly better recieved.
Ok... I concede. I prefer Sunny Day in the Void to Secret Weapons anyway. Mercy Mission - I love the Aleen topside parts...
I gotta say I like "Sunny Day in the Void" better than "Mercy Mission". However, I was not so impressed with "Secret Weapons". Its gonna be interesting watching this arc as a complete set.
