I've been on an RPG convention yesterday and saw a guy who makes his own SW miniatures. He also made a whole bunch of Killik stuff in different colours and sizes, according to their nests. They look amazing! Unfortunately, the price is also "amazing" - £30ish per miniature, which is somewhat too much for my student's budget. But one day...!

Hello everyone! How does the Nest fare? What? Have some membrosia you say? Sorry, I'm underage.
So! Do you guys think we'll ever see the Kind as major galactic players again?

 

I think intertwining the Celestials, the Rakatan and the Killiks, their story with centerpoint and then the Sith would be a mistake. Not every evil force wielding entity/race has to be involved with the Sith.

Plus, it would diminish the individual stories of those races if you intertwined them with the sith.

The Story of the Rakatan is amazing and has no Sith at all involved, placing the Sith within or behind them makes them less a powerful race of beings and more puppets to an age old crisis we've seen a thousand times already.

The Killiks may be a different story, but too much Sith involvement just makes them an extension of a foe we've seen done over and grants us one less unique race/villain.

i love the Sith as much as the next guy, they are great and powerful and diverse enemies, but I also like the individuality of the other villains to have existed. And unlike the Sith, the Killiks and Rakatans have both good and evil offshoots. Their stories are so varied that it would be a travesty to take away from that individuality that has been built around them thus far.
