What upcoming concerts are you looking forward to?

Dinogallus and I just got tickets to see lynyrd skynyrd next month. That's gonna be awesome!

I think it would be nice for the white stripes to come back in st louis, and perhaps peter frampton, i saw him once...it was pretty cool.

 

Hmm... Maybe John Williams? Hahaha, yeah right. Blue Man Group? Nope, already missed em. Creed? Nope, too "Christian" for most people.

The last concert I wanted to go to but couldn't because of lack of funds and a ride would have been the Less than Jake concert that was on the 5th...as for the ones in the future..no clue

 

311 is coming to Springfield.

 

The Urge? THE URGE? I thought they broke up.

 

They're getting back together for 2 shows over christmas break: the 23rd and the 25th. At the pagent. Granted, they're probably sold out by now...

Hey folks.

My roomates' band, Picklebucket, is doing a December 5th show at Off Broadway. Bring a new unwrapped (non-violent) toy and say bye-bye to a cover charge. This is a benefit for The Kathy J. Weinman Shelter for battered women and their children here in town.

I know I'm a stranger, but this is for a good cause.

Sounds interesting, tell me more about what type of music they play.

 

Its kind of like a Bob Dylan/Tom Petty/Lemonheads type sound. Its catchy up-tempo drinking music. I think some songs have a slight country twang to them but I'd get punched if I said anything.

 

Sounds good, you might be counting me in on that one.

 

Rumor is, the Urge is adding another show on Dec. 22 at the Pagent.

 

I'm sure my roommate from last year is going be be at every show. He went to all their farewell shows.

 

A friend of mine knows one of the band members moms.

 

The toy drive show for the Kathy J. Weinman Woman's Shelter is this Friday. Picklebucket and Wydown at Off Broadway, bring a new non-violent toy and pay no cover. 21+ 8pm-1am

 

Reel Big Fish saturday night ay UMR! $15 for public, at our multi-purpose building.

 

Got back from the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert..........and....WOW!!!!
Just freaking amazing!!! 7th row....it was just......whoa....cool....I couldn't believe we were so close. FreeBird was defienetely worth the price.

Peter Frampton, Styx, Rush, Annie Lennox, and Sting have been announced for UMB bank pavilion.

 

I've heard that Styx puts on a great show. I've seen Rush three times, they're great live. Doesn't Alex Lifeson have some kind of assult charges pending against him?

 

I think someone threatened his kid.

July 21, Warped Tour at Riverport with gobs of bands (the ones I'm interested in seeing are: The Vandals, Bad Religion, Bouncing Souls, Flogging Molly, Tiger Army, Anti-Flag, The Casualties, Guttermouth, Sugarcult, Story of the Year (stl band-used to be Big Blue Monkey), and a bunch of others).



If only a lot of them weren't on weeknights.. I really want to see a bunch of those, but really don't want to drive from Rolla...
