Wow you guys are busy too. I hope you're all doing well. Sorry we haven't been stopping by lately. We are gearing up for our 1st anniversary dinner fo OCSWS.

 

The End Of Summer Bash (A DB 516 and MEPA Event) - 9/27/03:
Come join us for our first annual (MEPA's Second annual) end of Summer BBQ. The cost to attend is $20. All money collected will be used for food for the event. Other SW Clubs will be in attendance so it is a great time to meet our FF neighbors if you haven't already.

Day Trip To Montauk - 9/28/03:
Come join us as we finally make our long awaited journey to one of Long Island's most famous landmarks! In honor of our first birthday we're actually waking up early and trekking out to the lighthouse!

We will be discussing The Halloween Parade, Holiday Special gathering, the next Hollywood Video opening in Massapequa, elections, and renewal of our web site space. New members are always welcome! The Halloween Parade - 10/31/03:
Come to the world famous Greenwich Village Halloween Parade! While it is not an "official" Docking Bay 516 event a good majority of our club will meet up with the other local Star Wars fan clubs to walk in the parade.


Our Next Meeting - 11/16/03:
Our next meeting will be held at 12 PM. The location has not been determined yet.

"Star Wars Holiday Special" 20th Anniversary Party - 12/7/03:
Come subject yourself to the worst TV show ever! Seriously though, this is going to be a great event. Along with the viewing of the special we will also watch various bloopers, outtakes/rareties/behind the scenes, movie screen tests, parodies (such as Thumb Wars, Hardware Wars, and Mad TV), old shows (such as Mark Hamill on Letterman in 1983, Muppet Show 1980, Today show 10th Anniversary), and some surprises. Location will at a members house. Food (Pizza and snacks) and drink will be divided up amongst attendees.
The rain date for this event is 12/21/03.

Not only will you be celebrating the anniversary of the worst TV special of all time, but you will also be celebrating the birthday of the best CR of all time!

Empire City Fanfest - 4/16/04 - 4/17/0 4:
This convention is already shaping up to be a huge success. As more information is released we will tell you about it. It is being held in Secaucus, New Jersey.

The guest list consists of Jeremy Bulloch, Michael Sheard, Ken Colley, Mike Quinn, and many more guests from American animation and comics! The special guest star is Mark Hamill who will be holding a question and answer session (NOTE: MR. HAMILL WILL NOT BE SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS). Come stop by our table and say hi!
