Again, something we did last summer that was a lot of fun and would be great to do again! complete with the new game Jedi Purge! (kinda like ghost in the graveyard where the ghost has a lit lightsaber and goes a hunting. .. we need to get a red one! )

• after school gets out, I know Menath and I were thinking about doing thrusday nights at LazerWeb (members play unlimited games for $15)


• Exalted_1 mentioned perhaps having more than one picnic througout the summer


• If mom ever gets over this Pneumonia, I'd love to have people over for a firepit and Cook out


• Re-instatement of Movie Nights

Nope the Fanforce boards seem to be about the same as I originally remember the FanFic boards. . you only have 90 minutes to update/edit

I am pretty much interested in MarCon42, the picnic, and the JediStock2007. As far as I know, count me in for these events.

but right now, things are a bit sketchy on my end because of working on a Lightsaber group[almost ready to start classes], trying to go back to college[in July], AND searching for a new Job.

things are getting crazier as Marcon approaches.

Wow, that is a lot of craziness. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that everything runs smoothly.

Speaking of craziness, it looks like I will be getting custody of my 3 1/2 y.o. nephew here within the next month, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to do the Thursday lasertag nites now, or JediStock. I'll keep y'all posted.

 

I'd say bring the munchkin along, but then again, I'm not sure how well a young-un would do on a camp out. . .

7 or 8, fine, almost 4. . . eehhhhh. . . you could bring him out earlier in the night for hotdogs and marshmellows. . .

not that I can spell marshmallows. ..

 

I have a red light saber, but im not sith but im not for the code either.

 

technically Leia's lightsaber is red, Luke built it for her, and gave it to her at the beginging of Attack at Correlia

 

Just wanted to say have a nice time at Marcon for those of you going and I'll hopefully see some of you after C4.

 

I am glad to be inculded in the marcon event and hope to make the picnic and jedi stock but also I'd like to see more faces at the kai kan meetings as well

 

I'd add the Kai Kahn stuff in up at the top if I was able to update the post. . .

So has it been decided when/where the Picnic(s) and JediStock are going to be?

 

Not yet, sorry, things have been hetic!

How does June 30th for the picnic sound? and Jedi Stock sometime in August or September like last year?

(just came back from camping and my goodness it was HOT. . . )

also does any one have any other ideas for activities durring the summer?

 

Also,

Since I've been pretty much doing a lot of the scheduling I generally put up dates where I don't have things set on them already At the moment these are some of the things that are getting in the way:

June 9-10th: Sisters weekend . . . we are going up to Sandusky, we try to have one weekend a year/6 months so we actually end up seeing each other (my sister and I both like to have horribly booked schedules. . . as you will see below)

June 16th: I wanted to have a canoe trip, but another freind beat me to the punch asking about going to KRF (she wanted it to be a small freinds group thing, but if you guys want more information on it, let me know!)

June 23: bachlorette party starting at 4pm

July 1st: KRF big group thing, if you would like to meet us down there you are more than welcome too. . . I find it better that everyone goes down individually and we just all kinda run into each other

July 7th: Freinds Wedding (that's what the bachlorette was for!)

August 3th -8th: South Carolina
August 8-12th: Ikasucon in ft Wayne Indiana


Other than that. . . at the moment things are free
so if we are going to plan things, lets plan them ahead of time, I know how summers fill up quickly and the whole weekend warrior thing takes hold!

 

Well, for me its.

June 8-9: staying at fiance's to take care of the animals
June 16: KYRF(yes, that was me that beat her to the punch, hehe)
June 17: Fathers Day
June 23: friend's grad party
June 30: Family Reunion
July 1: KYRF
July 7: friend's wedding

August 10-12: possibly Gatlinburg

 

Well, June 30th is a no go for me. Family reunion

June 16-24: PSG VACATION!! 10 days and couting!!!

June 30: Baby Shower (I'm the coordinator, so I kinda have to be there)

July 7-8: Horse show

August 18-19: Horse show

August 25: Birthday

Aug 31-Sep 3: Japanese Festival in St. Louis

Oct 27-28: Horse Show

OH Ren Fest Pirates Weekend (whenever that is this year)

That's all I can think of at the moment.
