It is. I like Cheadle, he's a great actor, but Terrence Howard was extremely well-cast in Iron Man. Plus changing horses mid-stream like this always bugs me. I find it really distracting.

This actually has possiblities of quality, if they tie it into the current series and they play up the "all of this has happened before, all of this will happen again" angle. But odds are it's going to be a straight up remake.

 

I'm having nightmares of Galactica: 1980 just reading that... I'm scared.

Star Trek (HD)

Both look much, much better than they have any right to be!

 

Wow... that Star Trek trailer almost makes me want to go and sit through 30 seasons and 10 movies that include Star Trek in the titles.

As for Terminator: Salvation, you had me at Christian Bale as John Connor. I just hope someone remembered to deliver the Strepsils to his trailer.

 

Two more things that will make this May the most awsomest ever. Yes, says me.

The Trek preview was the one preview they showed at the Watchmen Preview screening. I was absolutely glued to the screen! I cannot wait to see it!

Also, we've been invited to attend the Preview screening for it too *squee* Actually contemplating a Trek costume.... Classic 60's mini dress perhaps?

 

I know most people are talking about movies and such on Twitter or god forbid when they gather..and we do gather! LOL..but anything other than the big few anyone's excited about? I can't summon up any energy for Terminator although I know it'll be an alright watch.

Possibly I'm most excited about Harry Potter..I know.

Has Coraline even come out here yet? Feels like I missed it.

 

Coraline came out in the States months ago. It will be released here under the groan-worthy title of Coraline and the Secret Door on August 6. Word is that 3D is absolutely the way to see it, so I'm keen on that. Like I said, Bolt totaly sold me on 3D as an actual filmic technique, rather than a gimick. Used well it's really great. I'm looking forward to Up for the same reason, and I once again shake my fist at Disney for how they delay the release of Pixar movies down here.
