Have there been any hints given as to what the two Unknown Title - Unknown Author books will be about? Or has DelRey not even decided what those will be yet?

No decision, AFAIK. I think they're waiting to see how well some of the other books go before making a decision on which era to go with. I just hope MWS is one of the authors.

Stover says he will be working on his own works for awhile. I doubt he will be back during this contract.

Maybe they will get someone new.

I'd like to see Stewart back. I think he did a great job with Dark Rendezvous.

But if I had to wager on one of the current authors I'd say that is about the right time for another Luceno novel.

Anyone know why we in the UK are geting our paperback reprints so late? We only got The Cestus Deception today and Jedi Trial in paperback isn't due out until September, the US is getting it in May - that's 4 months!!

TOS has a first look at Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader. It says the release date will be November 22, 2005. Here's the solicitation cover:

Dark Lord comes out Nov. 22, as well as a trade paperback containing LOE and ROTS. There is also a temporary cover for Dark Lord.

Evidently, when LFL/DR moved up the date for the release of Dark Lord, they moved back the date for Outbound Flight to a February publication date (which means it'll come out around Jan 31).

See Sue Rostoni's post here (dated June 4, 8:41 AM).

So we won't get two hardbacks a month apart, unfortunately.

I think they switched just so things would tie into the ROTS DVD release better- you have the LOE/ROTS paperbacks, and now the DL:TRODV hardcover to complete the psuedo-trilogy.
