That really SUCKS!! I was really looking forward to this one. Oh well. Anyways, dont forget Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian comming to theaters on May 16th, 2008, and how dare you forger Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull comming to theaters on May 22nd, 2008. Michele and I won't be joining you for either of those, due to Finals, and work, since I have taken way to much time off. That last few months, we will be needing to pack for the BIG MOVE. Don't forget to add those to your list TJ. Take care all.

Well I'm kind of not surprised and relieved..I do agree having the Star Trek movie probably won't do as well during Christmas time..especially being that a lot of blockbusters and family films come out at that time. I think Star Trek would do better during the summer. Star Trek: Nemesis bombed due to being released on Christmas (of course it was released during the same time as Lord of the Rings as well) Great job CBS/Paramount for deciding this change :)

Yes I almost forgot about the new Indiana Jones as well..Looking forward to that as well :)

Actually I'm glad that this was posted..I realize I could have done the research myself to look at the release dates of movies but it's a nice little grid for my reference so I know when to go and see a movie.

I'm Savvy :) Belda and I just saw "Jumper" and I realize that some of you don't like Hayden but we both enjoyed the film very much..what was also cool was the the trailer for the new M. Night Shyamalan movie with Mark Wahlberg called "The Happening" slated for release on June 13th. What was great about this trailer was the fact that they do not show what is going on. People seem to be dying and/or bees as well. It reminds me of the trailer from Cloverfield so I'm hoping that this could be a better M. Night Shyamalan movie.

Overall though.. even with Hayden..I thought Samuel L. Jackson did a great performance in Jumper as well. I would give "Jumper" roughly around 4 1/2 stars..or 8/10. It could have been better but I thought it was highly entertaining and from what I understand this is movie one out of 3.

Also just to let you know TJ..after watching Gremlins 2 with Belda tonight I may end up giving Rambo a chance after all..heck even Gizmo enjoyed the Rambo movie..sorry for the previous conversation but to defeat the enemy you must become the enemy (at least something to that quote) ;) BTW, I loved the cameos in Gremlins 2 which included Jerry Goldsmith the composer for the film and many others including Star Trek's 1, 5, 8, 9 and 10..and countless other great films. Sorry to flood multiple topics in this thread but I just wanted to add something without having to reply to the other threads... again I'm savvy ;)

I agree with you that he's not a bad actor. Actually, I felt he got the emotional part of Anikan really good especially by the third prequel.

Does 10,000 BC have dinosaurs in it? If not, I'm not so sure about it being that appealing to me. It would be too much on the realist side. (I don't know, I'd have to read about it or see the trailer/previews.

Actually, I got word via the Fantastic Frontiers group that Star Trek had been pushed forward to May or Summer 2009. But hopefully that's just a rumor! Maybe check out Star Trek.com?
