Thanks for the comments. Yes they're all colored pencil. Some are older and obviously poorer in quality. I enjoy combat style poses and Jedi/Sith subjects.

Any suggestions on ways to improve?

 

Hard to choose, but I think I'll have to pick 'Jedi Knight' as my favourite; cool pose, and very interesting designs for the lightsaber hilts. Keep up the good work!

Another great coloured crayons wizzard did enter this thread. What amazing colour displays! And the drive that your characters have! That sith shivers with anger almost.

 

Thank you. I love working in colored pencil. It has a different look than a lot of other forms, but sooooo much fun, especially working with highlights and shadows.

I have a few more I'll try to post soon.

 

Wow, I haven't actually commented on this? I love these. I really like how you've used colour - I really struggle with it but you make it look so easy. Nice work and I'm looking forward to seeing more!

I saw some of your stuff as well, really awesome pics. Especially the Han/Leia "scoundrel" pic. That was great. You really caught the likeness in the faces with that drawing!

 

Corin: Wow, these are good!

I really like Jedi Knight and Sith Lord Pall. Great vividness and posing. Also like the lightsaber hilts. Two of them remind me of Sir Christopher's curved one.

 

Ajunta Pal looks bad ass. Nicely done. Like the first Revan/Darth Revan as well.

 

Thanks guys here is one of my latest, just finished it a few weeks ago. Still in colored pencil, but I used photoshop to smooth it out a little bit.

Thanks Ree! Shading/lighting are my favorite parts of drawing.

 

That's very cool! You did a GREAT job with the shading; I especially love the reflection of the lightsaber in his hair.

 

Thanks! That was one of the coolest elements in the lightsaber fight in AOTC, and I've always tried to imitate that look.
