Btw,if anyone hasn't met most of the stars listed,I'd suggest getting Garrick Hagon's autograph. I met him at C2,and he's a really nice guy.

A great list of STAR WARS people coming to STAR WARS CELEBRATION III and the list is going to grow!

I have a life-size Darth Maul figure that was part of the STAR WARS EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE/PEPSI Promotion that I really, really want to bring to STAR WARS CELEBRATION III and have Ray Park sign. I mentioned something to him about having it and having him sign it when he was in Indianapolis before. Maybe it will happen this time that he is in Indianapolis!

That would be cool. My Wife will be filming the whole thing if it does happen. It's convenient for me that I live so close to where STAR WARS CELEBRATION III will be held. I could bring my Darth Maul in, then take it home, then come back instead of carrying/toting it around all day and taking the chance that something would happen to it.

I thought Anthony Daniels was tradition!

 

Yeah, I was expecting to see Anthony Daniels as the emcee but I'll give Jay a chance definitely. Anthony must've been sent to the spice mines of kessel after all. I do hope that he's one of the SW guest celebrities for autographs though. I don't have his.

 

He seems to be one of the most fan-friendly celebs.

 

yea. i heard (key word) that at C1 Mr D wasnt very friendly... but what ever works.. atleast he is a star wasr star not a Gen con employee.

 

I heard at C1 he was mingling with the crowd waiting to get in...

 

Cool! I'm supprised too that they didn't have Anthony Daniels come back. But,it's cool because I've never seen/met Jay Laga'aia at a convention.

Anthony Daniels did do that at STAR WARS CELEBRATION II. He also did a talk at a local mall free to the public within the week of the Celebration, before the Celebration started. Those of us fans that attended were allowed to get individual pictures taken with him and were given individual Anthony Daniels/C-3PO frames to put the picture in, all for free.

Anthony Daniels is a great person and a lot of fun.

 

Ooh, nice... I've heard from my friends that Jay was the friendliest and most entertaining celebrity at JediCon in Düsseldorf, so I was really hoping he would come to C3...

Finally got around to looking at the Jay Laga'aia clips from Jedi Con. He's damn good. If AD couldn't do it, I think this guy was a good choice.

As to people we are wanting to see, I don't think the poster was saying he wasn't going to C3, I know I am- no matter who is there, but where are the "Named" actors like we had for C2. Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Hayden Christensen -you know what I mean.

Should we be worried yet that C3 isn't going to have the celebrity draw as C2 yet?

I don't remeber when they announced the bigger names for C2, but I'm sure it was before pre-orders were due.
I like the line up they currently have but for the last Official Star Wars convention with a new movie coming up, I'd hope we'd see Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, etc.
If they can make it to a convention in LA or Austin TX, I'd hope they'd make it here.

Either way, I'm going to have a blast but I'm just wondering what everybody's thought is;it time to worry yet?
