Loved the questions.....nice work.
We actually live in separate cities. Would an edited picture be OK, as long as the pictures are fresh?
Edit: Got all the answers now, but I'm sure another team has answered already so we're going for the picture.
Edit: On second thought.. maybe I shouldn't have told you I planned to photoshop it..
I thought about the photoshop idea too but figured it would not be acceptable as your team has to be 'holding' the sign.
Yeah, kinda unfair to give 2 points for people holding up a sign. The bonus two points should be given to a team for answering a super hard trivia question that has multiple parts and answers to it.
anybody who manages to get together to take that photo deserves the two points! next saturday would be the earliest our team could manage!
That's why I did it. I figured it would be tuff to get together on such short notice. Plus it's a way to show some FanForce spririt or something.
And there is another point about which should be thought:
For those people who live in one city it is doable. They can meet within a short time and the costs are low. But for those who do not live in the same city, the costs can reach up easily up to 150?, which is approximately 150 USD, and the time you need is much longer.
And I don't know if two points are worth 150? and a not little amount of time.
Plus those people who just don't have a digital fotocamera have no chance to do it, because shops open again on Monday and delevoping a picture takes between 3 and 5 days.
I agree that it was just meant to be a light-hearted, fun bonus point, and I can see why Rox did it, I think Skiara makes some valid points. For many groups where the FanForce ranges over a large area (for example, before I moved I would have still been part of the same FF, however it would have taken me 2 hours to get to the next FF'er) it would have been exceptionally difficult. I think the challenge should be taken in the spirit which it was meant - good fun - but possibly it should be approached with more caution in the future.
Unfortunately our FF had a meeting on Saturday and we got the challenge on the Sunday. Our team members live at different ends of the city (couple hours apart) and it with work etc, it wouldnt be viable to get it arranged. We are meeting again Sunday which is Saturday US time, but we'd not be able to get it up till Late Saturday night US time.......will that count?
As long as I get your stuff by Monday 4PM Board Time then yes.
As we say down under, we're not playing for sheep stations here folks.
Regardless of who gets a photo submitted or not I hope we get to see all the entries. My advice is to get busy with photoshop and have a bit of fun with it .... but don't tell Rox.
You can bet your sweet butt that I'm posting the pics here. That was the point to stir up some fun and get a chance to better know everyone. It's what FanForce is all about. I know not everyone is going to get the bonus, that's why it is a bonus. heck I live in the same city with most of my FanForce members and we can't organize a picture of us for stuff like this without weeks of planning.
Another key point to remember that is often forgotten: It's only the internet
13 Minutes until the deadline, anything sent in after that will not be accepted.
I will be posting the scores tonight after I get home from my Strike Force bowling league.
i'm looking forward to seeing the answers and scores , but rox, you haven't read the pm with my teams answers . are you saving it or has something gone wrong?
Call me crazy, but I dreamed about Rox posting the answers.
That's some dream.
Looks like mine haven't been read either...
Rox, you aren't just going around feeling big because you have 17 new PMs, are you?
How do you know if they have been read or not?
PM me so we don't derail ........... too much!
This has got to be the longest bowling game ..... ever
