V.C, CA Update on Zar...

Zaranne called me earlier to let me know how she was doing, and she asked me to post here to let you all know.

She was on a snowboarding trip recently, and attempted to be more daring than normal, but ended up breaking her other arm (shortly after removing the cast from her other arm). It was a bad break, and the Emergency Room set her right. She's going back to the doctor's soon though, because she may need pins in her arm.

She also crashed into a parked car recently, which forced her to buy a new one. She got an SUV, and she's pretty happy with it.

She's most likely coming to the next meeting if she can manage it, and she should have Internet soon also (as well as Galaxies!). Let's be praying for her poor body.

 

I already told Matt and GentleBant about this earlier. You're a bit behind the times, aye?

 

Fascinatingly enough, Matt and GB are not the only members of FanForce.

 

Dang, that stinks. She seems like a really cool person from the one meeting I was at. Here is hoping she gets better quickly.

 

That sucks, if you guys talk to her again tell her I said "get well"... or something better to the same effect.

Zar knows I love her. After all, us crazy people have to stick together.

 

Actually Kai, I think the last arm was from last year... so now she can officially say that she "breaks arms on a yearly basis".

 

Was it from last year? I can't even remember when all this stuff happened.

 

It was in a cast at the VCFF Christmas Party, so that would mean it was from last year.

 

ya, matt's right...i just have no concept of imte...if i can remember it, it happened this year.

 

Well I haven't broken MY arm this year........ I dislocated my back, jumping off a bridge. Don't laugh!

 

Let this be a lesson to us all: don't jump of bridges.

 

Most of us have learned that lesson...

 

What does an "of bridges" jump look like? A jump off a bridge I can picture, although unlike our dear invisible member I think I figured out the inadvisability of the maneuver without having to personally try it out. But an "of bridges" jump? Dunno.

Zar, if you're reading this, have you been drinking your milk? Hope the painkillers are doing their job, and please check in when you can. (Can't you find a boyfriend you could dictate to?)

 

Sometimes I think Réka only chimes in on the forums to correct peoples grammar.
