Abq ***UPDATED INFO ON MEETING**PLEASE READ**

The June meeting will NOT be this Sunday (June 19th).

The June meeting is rescheduled for the following Sunday, June 26th, 2pm at Loma del Norte Park.

The park is located between San Antonio & Paseo. Go west on Loma del Norte and you will run into it (and hopefully not over us!)

Please let me know if there are any questions/concerns...

It was a loverly day..the birds were singing the sky was blue and the Star Wars geeks were out!!!

We recapped the highlights of the Library Day on June 11th. A total of 200+ people showed up for that event, so we can safely count that one as a success!!!

Discussed the upcoming Bubonicon in August. We have a dealer table set up and will be discussing the details of a raffle and possibly showing our usual collection of Fan Films.

Symphony in Sept: Bob & Jess will be meeting with the director of the event to find out more details such as what costumes are needed, tickets etc.

Keep an eye on the threads for both these events as we start to plan them in more detail.

We then oohed & aahed over Commander Clem's awesome detailing of his collection of custom clone troopers etc. Awesome!

Then the water fight broke out and the weather gods decided to punish us by whipping up a nice storm which quickly brought the meeting to an end......but a good time nonetheless!!!

 

Man, that sucks, I had a bunch of things to do so I wasn't able to go. Next month fo shizzle!

 

What a shame that I work on Sundays. Its more of a shame because I work later hours (9-6) now! Crap...

 

Yeah, and I brought that figure for you and everything!

i drove up there from Los Lunas but could'nt remember the cross street between san antonio and paseo where the park was. it wasn't the park i thought it was, so i want lookin and thats a lot of real estate to check through. after an hour i gave up.

 

Don and I'll be there Mark will be out of town in LA doing the california thing. If only I could get him into costume? Maybe that is a good anniversary gift.

 

So where is this months meeting going to be?

 

I may ask for some time off when and where please!
