Yeah thats what I said. Warnie probably spent his night in the corner of the room staring at Dizzy while playing with his mobi...... just kidding, Warnie would surely be happy for Dizzy no matter what

Oh, i'd have shins, they'd just be bruised and broken.

That's right Toddi, your padawan attacks me out of anger. I do believe that is a part of the path to the darkside. just thought you should know.

yes butit shouldn't mater. Are Jedi not supposed to forgive, not attack?

Are the Jedi teachings not teachings of defence over attack?

Umm no! Calculated attack. See ROTS and ATOC for examples of calculated attack by jedi. They prefer negotiation to provocation. And forgive??? Do you think Dooku was forgiven for everything he did??

Anywhoooo back to Updates and Scores! :p

    ahem... You lose DV!

Anyway, suppose I did, hypothetically, openly attack you (more specifically, your shins ;)) which, might I add is completely untrue... What are you gonna do about it?

Anyway, back to sports... Hawks beat Blues by 32 points, Australia beat Bangladesh by an innings and 80 runs, led by Dizzy's glorious knock of 201* and Warnes 36th 5 wicket haul, taking figures of 5/113. That also wraps up the series 2-0, and they move on to the ODI's.

In other news the Lockley's Football Club play their first game of the season this Sunday, travelling over to play Woodville South. Star forward pocket Jake Hanley fights through injuries to make it into the side donning the No. 11 guernsey. :D

Dont suppose anyone wants to come along and watch that game..... [face_thinking]

Hmm, fair enough Evil. I myself think Collingwoods is the worst. Eddie deserves a good ol' bashing...

And the Magpies proposed Away Guernsey? Lets change the white stripes to black and the black to white, that'll do!

If they wont play fair, kick 'em out of the comp!

    Hockey SA Under 17 competition

    Adelaide Hockey Club:

7:45 game - Girls- Adelaide vs Seacliff

What a nail biter this was! Adelaide dominated the first half, scoring early and as the umpire i started to settle into what i thought was going to be a walkover by the stronger and more skilful adelaide strikers. However, the momentum ebbed and flowed quite inconsistently in this team, usually known for their excellent teamwork. Seacliff managed to capitalise on this weak spot tonight by hammering home a goal early in the second half. Adelaide seemed to fall apart after this, with myself and my co-umpire (my good ol' dad) having to penalise several players for bad and lazy tackles.

    Result- DRAW (1 all)

9:00 game - Boys (2nd div)- Adelaide Hills vs Woodville.

Ahhh, my old team, woodville, usually known for their strength in their junior boys sides, was a disappointing show tonight against a very weak and developing Adelaide Hills side, which i am INCREDIBLY grateful for. Adelaide Hills are a very inexperienced team, with several players showing a natural flair but unable to capitalise on this due to a strong crushing woodville defence. Woodvile scored fairly easily on the breakaway, amassing 2 goals in the first half and 3 in the second. Despite being under incredible pressure and constantly being beaten (adel hills lost to burnside last week 16-0), adelaide hills always seem to try their damndest to play the game in a friendly manner, which makes them a fab team. Always doing their best to make do from a bad situation, and a never say die attitude, a wonderful combination. I had a lot of fun umpiring this match, as both teams were very friendly and eager to have a good time. It almost seemed like the score didnt matter! I received wonderful comments after the game from several of the adelaide hills boys, thanking me for umpiring and saying i did a great job and they enjoyed the match. Gave me warm fuzzies!!!

Result: Woodville (5) def Adel Hills (0)

    What a great night!
