Ok....thats 3 so far....any others?
This Sunday is the club's meeting. What about Saturday, or after the meeting on Sunday? I am always looking for an excuse to dress up, and I haven't seen Lu in sooooooo long...
After the meeting would be swell. Let's see how many want to go. I will check with the hospital to see if it's ok.
If we go after the meeting, I may be in.
I'll need to check with parents, but I would like to go too, if I can.
shoot i cant go after the meeting my parents are throwing me a birthday bbq so im stuck going to that =/ i really want to go see her soon maybe next weekend?
Saturday is out for me but after the meeting may be feasible
Sorry, I have work in the morning and a DJ job that night so this Sunday is out for me.
Next week is better for me since it should be my weekend off.
If I werent 500 miles away and working two jobs I would be there in a heart beat, though I dont have a costume, :-(
I checked and found out that next weekend will be better for me too. Also Happy Birthday Rion, hope it's a good one.
Thanks to Matt, Sabrina [who always dresses to kill, sometimes literally] and Erik [who went in his new zoot suit!]who went to visit Lu after our Club meeting. She enjoyed your company very much. She is coming home today and will return to Kaiser Harbor City for her final surgery on the 29th of this month.
I am sorry to report that Lu is back in the hosptial [Kaiser Lakeview].
She has a blood clot in her left lung. She will be there until further notice.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry to hear that Don, I will definately be praying for her and you.
Deb and I went to see Lu last night, She was in good spirits, and seemed to be comfortable. She will remain in the hospital for at least 1 to two more days but a lot depends on test results. She has been a real trooper through all of this. On behalf of Don and Lu, your continued prayers are requested, and Lu sends her thanks to all who have supported them during this difficult and trying time, and continue to pray for her recovery.
Any more recent updates?
Lu has been home for some time, and is on the road to recovery. She seems to be doing better and better every day
