Okay, while we're reliving our childhood, anybody remember that Richard Thomas Sci-Fi movie w/ the flying, ahem, gonads?

It was like Battle Beyond the Stars or something, but the ship was red and certain anatomical features. Come on, someone must remember this one. I think it had the Dad from the Elm Street movies as a bad guy.

 

It was battle beyond the stars. The computer on board was a smart ass and the pilot was John Boy Walton. They used those models in a few b-movies...and of course I loved watching them gorwing up...but that's besides the point. Then there was that space cowboy that flew what I thought was a camera box, the 8 white aliens that were "Nestor", the Valkyrie wannabe, and Jack Palance as some interstellar assassin. And who can forget those frog shaped ships piloted by devolved Klingons ?

Those were the days......

I seem to rememer realizing that this ship was in more than one of those low budget sci-fi flicks.

 

Yep, they used the space battle footage in a bunch of movies & TV shows. It became known as the Stock Sci-Fi Film for any low budget movie
