    Hi,

I was able to compress a large .avi file from 329MB to 2.77 MB using virtualdub ... then I tried to upload it to my lycos website, however it appears that it would not upload. My question, is 2.77MB still considered to large a file to upload? Can any of the experts give some helpful suggestions, I'm new at all this and am just trying to put video clips on my website. :(

    Thanks in advance. :)

    Lycos is Tripod, right ?
If so, 2.77 Mb isn't too large. Maybe the problem lies in the fact that -again, maybe- Lycos doesn't accept .avi files... it's been a while since I haven't uploaded anything on those free servers.

My advice would be to find another server. Tripod, Angelfire... or even Geocities if you can't find anything else...
